Breaking down a significant barrier she might have otherwise rejected for a long time, thus leaving her more accepting, or at least less fearful, of the female future that awaits her. I'd like to think her first sexual experience of being the receiver opens us the prospect in her mind that a future with a vagina may not be a terrible thing.

I think it will advance the story way forward, as there really won't be any new ground to cover after that (where will the tension come from if she's already done everything). My preference would be that she doesn't have sex until she has a vagina. I like the idea of her being so sexually frustrated by the time that she gets the vagina, that she gives in an allows someone to have sex with her even though she hasn't fully accepted being completely female. If, however, she's already had anal sex with a man, it really won't be that monumentous for her to have sex again with a man, but with a vagina. Also, on a personal level, I'm just not into the male sex with futa stuff. I'm not judging anyone who's into that... it's just not for me.
