The guilty pleasure would make her to be torn between accepting her feeling and her identity. We may say that is quite ambivalent. In that situation, if she sincerely gives gratitute to Davis, it wouldn't be plausible, especially considering the awkward relationship between her and Davis. If (s)he gives him a kiss or hug, it is most likely a sort of ploy. That seems more natural. It would require more time and events to be fallen by pleasure, and surrender her identity as a man for her.
