Update

First of all, I owe you all an apology for the week-long gap without chapters.

As you all know, I've been ill in late January and even though my health is all good now, my days now are still suffering the aftereffects of that. My job needs me to pick up the lost time and I'm struggling to get back on track. I'm managing, but I'm dead tired as a result of that extra push.

Another thing you all likely know is that I'm writing this story in my free time, and of course writing is not the only thing I do with when I'm free. Other things in my life also require my attention and when that time-frame get reduced the only thing I can really cut back on is writing time, which is less than ideal. 

To compound on it all, this all happens when I'm trying to start this story on RR, which again requires time for edits and so on. 

As you can see, all of it has accumulated to a large pile and as a result I've started to lag behind badly.

Now, I don't want to stop writing this story. I really don't. I enjoy it too much. 

I also don't want to lose all of you, people who are actually willing to pay to read what I write.

But I think I will lose you, if I don't do something radical.

So, I've made a decision. 

For the next week, there won't be a "new chapter". There will be chapters, however. What do I mean by that?

I can't focus on too many things right now, so I need to cut back on some of my activities. Instead of writing new chapters, I will focus all my effort on editing the chapters written so far and catch up to where the last chapter I've posted here left us.

If you've read the RR chapters, you likely saw that for some parts the edits are extensive. Rather than deleting or just outright copying over the chapters here, I will just post new chapters that are already up on RR.

This is a way to return to a sync between here and RR. Right now 7 edited chapters are on RR. You will get those chapters and another one in soon after this notice is uploaded and the 9th will likely be up later in the day. As I edit the chapters, I will upload them here and when we catch up, the normal story will resume it's course.

It is my estimate that it will take me around 5 to 7 days to complete this synchronization. I will try to complete it earlier, but I don't want to rush this too much and make a mess of it. 

What this means is that another week with no new chapters is ahead.

Again, sorry. 

But I think that this is necessary. A complete pause on the new front will allow me to sync up the old and the new fronts and proceed onwards with a less divided attention, if that makes sense.

I really made a mess of this entire thing and I have to apologize for that too.

P.S. The 7 edited chapters and a +1 coming up in next few mins. The story starts when Kalina, Helfira, Prime'era and Tercius leave the Everstorm Towers. Reading it all is not necessary, but I would recommend it nonetheless.
