LIGHT COULDNT WRITE MELOs NAME BECAUSE OF THE FAKE RULE HE MADE UP! He would have to kill everyone in the task force before the 13 day rule would be proven fake! The fake rule was if you kill someone with the deathnote. You had to continue killing before 13 days or you’d die. So if Light killed everyone on the task force because they knew about the rule, Light would just have a big sign saying he’s KIRA if everyone on the task force died except him! So Light had to force his dad to write Melos name
