Also yall are misunderstanding the type of “evil” sasuke, it’s not that he wants to kill a bunch of ppl or destroy villages, he just wants enough power to kill the person who killed his entire family and clan and he’s been convinced there’s only 1 way to do that which is cutting all ties of “softness” like friendship and love.

If Sasuke had a stronger bond with them, he would never even dream of hurting or leaving them. He'd just stay in the village.

Itachi made him this way and his hate for him triumphs the love he had for Naruto/Sakura because he loved Itachi more at one point (The flashback). His bond is stronger with Itachi love or hate and that's why he'll go out of his way to abandon his friends.
