People be comparing a show embellished by their childhood and nostalgic dub to a show they watched as adults in a different language. Very different conditions so most comparisons end up coming off very biased. Glad you’re enjoying the show now

2024-12-04 19:21:07 +0000 UTCAnother confusing point for Trunks aside from the War flashbacks is that back when they defeated cell, his last knowledge of Goku's whereabouts was that he sacrificed himself and chose not to return to earth. So seeing Goku there in the flesh, he must have been 100% convinced its Black.

Japanese and English languages differ - Japanese is more context driven plus I grew up on the English Dub, so watching Super back then...I felt a real disconnect. Alot of things the characters said and did seemed off. And it really took away from my viewing of the series. I found myself trying to like it. Whereas now... just watching these episodes dubbed with Mike and Alexis...I have a complete 180 appreciation and love for Super. These series is freaking awesome

If something really is that bad, then you wouldn’t even have to put thoughts in others’ head before they watch it. They would naturally come to your conclusion when watching alone.
