We are talking about Goku here, he forgets everything... that includes being told something like there is 12 universes, plus they are all kids their memories might be really distant or dream like or even could get wiped for all we know, just relax a bit and wait till the end before jumping to conclusions bro. As far as I'm aware the Kais knew this already, its only Goku who would not know and he could have easily just forgot. Not mentioning something does not mean its not known.

But the nitpick I have about Daima and super and this constant thing about squeezing these sequal series into a past 10 or 1 year gap...is that it tends to ruin continuity. Here, Supreme Kai mentions Earth is from the 7th Universe. Prior to Beerus and just after Buu, there should be no mention of 7th or even numbered universes. That was only learnt when Champa arrived. So stating it here...is just wrong.
