I love how Alexis just immediately gets it when so many long time fans apparently can't. Yes, Goku is "dumber" because he's just chilling, something he rarely does in Z. The stakes are lower in Super, that's the biggest difference. I can understand having in issue with that, that makes sense. But it's not as simple as "Goku is dumber", no Goku has always been stupid when he's not serious. It's also for some reason more jarring in the dub, while Sean is awesome at the serious stuff, in my opinion Masako pulls of the lighthearted comedic stuff much more naturally.
