That being said .. If Pikkon is in the same episode, how is he considered non-canon? That always bugged me. I mean, even Goku facing frieza on Namek had an episode where Frieza remembered and recounted meeting Bardock, showed scenes from the Bardock movie...Yet...Bardock was considered non-canon for years?...

Making it so only SS3 or higher powers can be felt from that distance. They are on the Supreme Kais planet which is technically in the same realm as the Grand Kais planet so maybe because they were closer?
