I’m not talking about DB fighters or whatever power level thing you’re mentioning when most from early Dragonballs power levels are just in the 100s anyway. The dude can pull full busses and bend/break metal and even as Goku says later knows basic martial arts. He’d clown most regular fighters. There’s a reason he’s the world champ when it comes to normal humans.

Hence the poor filler-like story telling and designs. Not that the other Broly movies were masterpieces but...this one is just terrible. Luckily I'm pretty sure you guys are gonna love the next 2 movies.

2024-07-23 23:33:28 +0000 UTCWell it is possible that Piccolo and the others didn’t sense what was going on yet I suppose. I know that’s a weak excuse though. It was sort of an isolated incident and I’m sure they would have showed up had Biobroly actually escaped and started causing havoc in the world. But yea they should have gave us a reason why they weren’t there at least. I think most of these old Z movies suffer because they’re too short. If they were longer their plots could be much more flushed out. So much happens in them in such a short amount of time that a lot of the endings are rushed and lack luster imo.

Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and Piccolo are not here, and the way they did Broly was dirty like if they wanted to make a slime looking villain then they should've just make a new villain and not reuse Broly they used Broly just to get people to watch it plus compared to the other DBZ movies (especially the next one) it is easily one of if not the worst movie out of the bunch.

I think a good time to show the next one with Janemba is either after Gohan fights Super Buu or when Goku and Vegeta are about to fuse to fight Buu. Movie 12 fits in as a good what if/alternate universe where Gohan actually killed Super Buu and Goku and Vegeta stayed dead.
