If anything if just reinforced the goodness in him and opened his eyes to what he actually had. It made him truly understand what he desired and what he needed to do.

We still crying because for me and many our dads are strong and back then were tough at showing emotions so for me and others we can see some of our dads in vegeta and the emotion he finally showed was so surprising and always brings me to tears. Furthering that a father’s true feelings aren’t always shown but we would do anything for our family.
