2024-05-16 22:59:53 +0000 UTCLooking back at it, this actually was a fitting end to the story. Goku passing along his legacy to Gohan. Vegeta and Gohans growth as characters. The final antagonist being a combination of everything they had faced up to that point. The most epic climax of all the arcs in my opinion. It just felt like the end. I'm not upset that they continued it but I wouldn't have been if they decided to finish it there either.

Originally they were suppose to be, but i think the editors and publishers were the ones that didn't think they were intimidating enough hence why Toriyama created 17 and 18. Then the same thing was said about them and ultimately Toriyama came up with Cell.

From running to the past meeting everyone warning them of the androids and him beating freiza. Then him getting to spend a whole year with his dad that he never knew. Then to master his powers n come back to his time as a fully trained fighter n save the world. To me trunks story goes soo deep

That is why it is essential to watch OG Dragonball down the line to fully understand and see Goku's development and why he's a fighting genius and how he turned all his rivals and enemies into his close friends. Kid Goku was different and I know you two especially Alexis would love his character development just like Gohan's probably even more. I hope you don't skip the next arc even though it's filler but it will show Alexis where warriors go after they die and she can learn about the kais. The end of the last episode of the Other World arc reveal the time skip and Alexis is gonna lose it in a good way if she sees that last part

I hope you guys will be watching the filler episodes in-between now and the next arc. I know its filler, but i feel the other world stuff adds a lot of context to what happens in the next arc - introducing us to the Kai's and stuff, and for certain power scaling things.
