Eternity

HEEEEEEEY GUYS!

I hope you're having an awesome weekend!

Here's something I haven't done in a while – actually drawing!

I couldn't resist creating something for one of the most beautiful songs I've heard all year: Eternity by Alex Warren

Since the first time I heard it made me think of Joseph Fisher and Amaya. Of all the grief and burden he's carried for years, still holding out hope that he'll one day run by his beloved's side again. The light he carries with him is all he has left of her, an eternal symbol of his vow to find her again.

This song speaks so deeply to the soul of anyone who's ever lost someone. But there's a bittersweet hope that I feel when I listen to it that both breaks my heart and fills me with strength.

I'm so excited to hear your thoughts on this!! You guys are the absolute BEST!!!

I've gone through some scary health-related issues this month. It affected me physically, and I'm still trying to recover and figure out the best way to get better again and back on track! It set a few things back on schedule and I'm so sorry for this. But I promise great things are coming!

Thank you all so much for being here!!!

You really have a way of capturing emotion in your art, and that really shows especially with Old Joe. Beautiful song by the way, and I really love how you include the lyrics in this piece. It really adds some extra punch! I just know the whole subplot with Joe and Amaya is going to be so moving and deep. There are moments in your stories that really hit me in the feels and give me some pause, and most of the art that Joe is in is like that. I think the lonely and somber atmosphere you capture him in, and his palpable sense of grief and longing, really makes me feel some of what he feels. And those pieces are all at once beautiful, mysterious, and sad. It also really deepens the mystery and fascination of the unknown frontier and what happened to the Hunter expedition, and Amaya. I can't imagine how terrified and devastated Joe must've been when he was separated from her 💔 😔 The mysteries of No North are part of what draws me so deep into this story! Again, fabulous work! I'm sorry to hear you had that health scare, but I hope you continue to have a strong recovery! We all send you our best wishes Skailla! Be well ❤️
