Here's something else for the secret project I'm currently working on!
Have you ever heard of the maned wolf (Lobo-Guará)? This is the biggest canine we have in South America and it's one of my favorite animals ever!
I once saw one of these goofy creatures crossing the road, they're quite a rare sight!
Although they're huge and might look intimidating, they're just shy sweethearts who stick to a very fruit/mice based diet!

I hope I get to see one in person someday. I’ve always loved how different they look from any other creature and how when I think of them I think of Brazilian forests and pampas and how just special they are to their own species, their coloring and graceful movements are just so cool!! They are some of my favorite animals. You mastered their proportions and their coloring it looks gorgeous! It’s expressions are adorable! I still remember the first time I saw or even heard of the species. It was during a trip to the Denver Zoo about 14 years ago. They had a maned wolf exhibit there, and I literally thought they were some kind of big fox at first 😂 I found them very intriguing, and Ive been intrigued by them ever since! That's awesome that you saw one in the wild! Funny story, the very first time I saw the Break My Stride animation I actually thought Steban was a maned wolf at first glance since he's so tall and leggy 😂 I also happen to have an OC who is a maned wolf. I haven't shared him yet, but I've been wanting to draw him for a while. Hopefully I'll be taking a crack at it soon 😉
