GUYS TODAY IS THE LAST PAGE DAY!
To end this incredible journey, we have a spread page of Steban overlooking the town of Oddwind.
What's going through his head? Is it nostalgia and joy that he can finally do something to free the town from this terrible curse? Is it a dreadful pressure on his chest, still hearing the Devil's voice ringing is his ears?
Is he contemplating his next steps... Or thinking of running away again?
I'll leave you guys to it and I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on this page, more so than in all of the others.
Today, BOOK 1 IS COMPLETE!
Goodness, you have no idea how incredible it feels to actually write this.
I'd like to deeply thank all of the people who believed in this project.
Tatiana Lange, a fantastic artist who did most of the background art for pages 01-30, including the iconic Lonesome Desert where the Bull King buried the compass, The overview and scenes of Dawnville town, The Bohemian cafe and the Dawnville's train station ticket booth scene!
Jennifer Beam, an incredible artist who joined on page 18 and did some of the most iconic backgrounds of the comic, including Martin's apartment, the gorgeous mountains on the train ride, the beautiful overview of the desert on issue 3 and the waterfall landscape!
Kryatlicious, the absolute 3D wizard who modeled and rendered the whole town of Oddwind, Dawnville's train station, the Red Sky Saloon, the Wishbone's home, Steban's attic room, the pier by the old port and so much more! And of course, incredible story consultant who gave me so much life and motivation to finish this project!
Well Rosa, who joined on page 100 as the character flat colorist and has done the most incredible work up to the very last page of this comic, bringing life to each and every character on this story!
I couldn't be more thankful to these 4 amazing people who made No North into the best comic it could possibly be!
And to you, my friends and most amazing supporters. Believing in something that is just starting is a tricky thing, and you guys truly put your faith into this comic. I feel so honored to have you by my side, because of you we have come SO far! Your support meant everything for No North, and I can't say this enough, I am so thankful to each and every single one of you.
I hope this comic has brought you joy and adventure, maybe some nostalgia and some encouragement to take on life in a ludic manner!
There's sooooooo much more to come in the next books, and I know it'll be a long, long journey till I get there. But hopefully, and with the support of our amazing team and you guys, we will.
TILL' NEXT TIME, COWBOYS!
rides off into the sunset
