No North - Book 1 - Page 194

WOHOO SURPRISE PAGE DAY!

Oh, how I love writing dialogues with them.

Eventually we all need to confront our old ways. Think long and hard about the paths we've taken and where we truly want to go. We'll all stand on the edge of the unknown. Choosing to take a step forward takes a lot of courage, but its worth it. It's our own story we're writing, after all.

I would love, LOVE to hear your thoughts on this! This is one of the "iconic" moments of book 1 I was so excited to get to!

Thank you all so much for your EPIC support!

Love the build up between of our two favourite adventures. Stepping into the unknown and not knowing what awaits can sure be a daunting step at first but if destiny calls sometimes you just have to take the leap of faith and give it your all and face the unknown straight on. Amazing page Skailla love the interaction between our duo. I think that Martin stepping out of his original tracks and facing the unknown it will change him for the better I reckon ☺️☺️☺️

Maverick

This is such an impactful scene with Steban and Martin having another one of their little moments 😊 Not only does this dialogue further highlight the difference in outlook and personality between these two, but it cuts right to the very heart of this story's central theme I love the atmosphere in this page - just the two of them out there in that lonely, quiet desert beneath a starlit sky. I think this setting really helps to carry the weight of this moment, where Martin has realized the predictability and what little control he had in his life has evaporated, and now he knows he is being forced to face an uncertain fate that he can't turn back from. I can sense how conflicted and lost he feels here... I sometimes wish for fate to intervene in my own life like this, and to bring about a drastic but ultimately good change. I really see a lot of Martin in myself, and I can identify with his personal struggles I love this page Skailla! That rear view of them together is very iconic! I know I've seen that in your art before 😁 One minor suggestion, if you don't mind, is the spelling of "unerving". Should be "unnerving" instead. But I love the interaction between these two and this beautiful scene! There's something about a desert at sundown and dusk that speaks to me 🙂
