The Deathstalker had to find an alternative way to get out of that tight spot. Caves are terrible places to get stuck at, but he made it out of there! Now they need to act fast and find a way out of the rock maze before Steban and Martin get too far!

I was wondering what was going to happen after our boys escaped! Poor Hank, I wonder what Vernon’s going to think about Hank, his eye, and his comrades when they get back. Well, if they get back. Maybe they’ll never find a way out of this canyon! I really like the angles of Hank in the first three panels, showing how far he chased Steban and Martin- or how hard it was for him to get through the rocks to chase them. I also really liked how you captured Hank’s muscles and shoulders, mainly in the second panel, where you can see his shoulder making a sort of bump on his back while he climbs, like a dog of that size and strength normally would. And in the third panel, how his normally curled ears are flapped open to show how he’s almost leaping or stepping down off a rock and onto the ground. I also thought it was cool how in the last page, whether intentional or not, Hank kept his eye open even though he just got sand thrown in his eye, possibly to try to not give away any weaknesses, but when he’s alone with no one else around, crawling through the rocks, he shuts his eye. He doesn’t even shut it in front of his fellow scorpions! Well, that part’s just a hypothesis, since we can’t really see his face (minus the muzzle) during that last panel, but it would be a reasonable idea given the recent events, and how Hank is pretty much the leader of the other three scorpions here. One more thing about that fourth panel, though- Viper and Rat look pretty agitated! Are they just angry at their defeat…or at Hank? If someone yelled at me to keep going after I had just gotten thrown off a cliff, I think I would snap right back. As for Viper, though, I’m not sure where he’s been while Esther, Rat, and Hank have been fighting Steban and Martin. Same goes for Adder, too. Maybe Viper was just helping Rat get up from his fall…though I also wonder where Esther is? Is it possible that the other scorpions might turn on Hank for pushing them too far? It’s not completely out of the question, and it would be interesting to see Hank get a taste of his own medicine. Also, if Raoul has in fact been left alone, hopefully he’s run away by now! Awesome page!

XD The Devil, Solomon and Rocco, random train conductors, these guys, and no doubt the Bull King too whenever we see him again... That boy has quite the lucky streak! Now that Steban and Martin have the compass and are high-tailing it back to Oddwind, I'm sure that's going to make quite the interesting conversation piece when Steban and Baltazar finally have their long-awaited reunion! I can't wait to see how that goes down!
