Something caught Edgar's eyes and sent shivers down their spines. I wonder who the stranger in the shadowy woods could be.
Quite a suiting page for Halloween week, eh? haha
Getting this background art right was challenging since I had a very specific vision for this scene... I didn't quite reach it, but I'm happy with the results! I love the uncanny feeling and false sense of safety that the afternoon sun can give. It casts such a bright light, but such overwhelming shadows as well.
