We're back to Martin and Steban's honest talk. They share very opposite perspectives on how to go about the creative process. But Steban seems to feel like the experience of a writer shouldn't be only a mental one, but also lived through! xD

I could imagine Steban and Martin collaborating on a book and 5 minutes in it going like this:

2023-09-01 21:30:11 +0000 UTCThe more I see Martin reveal his thoughts and his troubles, like he does here, the more I really get a feel for how hard he is on himself and how much he seeks the approval and validation of others. I think his approach is all wrong. One of the best bits of wisdom I've ever heard, and one which I learned too late, is that success isn't something you pursue, success is something you attract. And you do that by simply keeping your eye on what drives you and what you have a passion for, because that's the thing you're naturally good at. And if you show yourself to be great at what you do, people will take notice and will be drawn to you. I think that Steban has the right idea. He's the type to simply do what he wants and lets the results of that occur naturally without any worry, while Martin stresses himself out trying to make a particular outcome happen, when a lot of the time in life, things like that just aren't within your control.
