And you know what that means! IT'S PAGE DAY!
We get to hear it from Martin now - why writing is so important to him.
Stories are magical, aren't they? I remember how important they were to me when I was growing up, either real or fictional. Many times when I felt alone, I found courage in how my favorite characters dealt with their own struggles. And I still do!
And now I want to give back, and really, really hope I can bring joy and courage to readers with these comics. I felt very close to Martin while writing/drawing this scene because of that!
So I sneaked in many references to other famous stories and from two of my favorite books growing up - The Secret Garden's key and Dustfinger from "Inkheart" (as a dog, of course! xD)
Drawing this page was crazy, but it felt so good to work on. Nostalgic, to say the least!

"Grab a piece of that infinity" I absolutely LOVE that!!! And I love seeing more of Martin's inner workings. He's so stressed all the time, it's nice to see those moments when he can feel passionate. Steban is definitely going to be a good influence on him. Sometimes, what you need is someone who is willing to support you while also challenging you and giving you an extra push.
