Welcome back to another reaction! Today we are watching Beyond The Star, Ep 6. Begin and Again. Last episode was really really really good and we are excited about this one. All of them actually! We got some more behind the scenes from PTD and the guys enjoying some downtimes. All so different but so them. But the future of performances was still up in the air. Excited for this episode so let's hop in.
We hate to see this episode end. The energy here is really showing how the next chapter becomes a lot about individuality as the guys inch their way closer to enlisting. Loving the insight each episodes bring. Well that's it, thanks for watching.

It's funny how y'all talk about having to read the captions & watch what BTS are doing on the screen... so then for me, I'm reading the captions (even though I understand Korean conversationally, it's just a habit) & trying to see what BTS are doing on the screen (even if I've already seen it) PLUS trying to see your reactions! LOL

2025-05-24 18:34:25 +0000 UTCI feel like the best follow up to the Beyond the Star series is Festa Dinner 2022. So it can approximate our state of mind at the time we also watched it in real time.. The timeline was in shambles.. We were scared we wont hear from any of them for a long time. But looking back now, WOW, I've never been busier as an ARMY than in the past 2.5 years😅😆

The PTD Vegas was meant to be the last concert, hence why chapter 2 started after June and Hobi did his solo stuff with Jack in the Box, other members were scheduled after Hobi to release their solo work and Jin was meant to enlist over the summer. The Busan concert was part of a bid for the city of busan to hold a global expo and they asked BTS if they would do it. They realised they never got a proper goodbye, and with the reaction to the Festa dinner, Jin postponed and they agreed to do the concert. By the time the concert came around, Jin had officially applied to receive a date to enlist so they made it their goodbye concert. There were many obstacles since the organization from the City's side was so bad but the boys were determined so Hybe took over and forked the bill for everything. Thats why Jin only had one song prepared before he left. He wasn't meant to still be around as long as he was. The documentary kinda jumps around in timelines without saying it too. Like Yoongi in the studio was from when they were in LA for PTD hence the hair colour, not Vegas. Same with Jin fishing. Its little things u only notice if u experienced the events in real time as u see them post on twitter, instagram and weverse as those things happen. Also from Bangtan Bombs and behinds. I highly highly recommend u read the book Beyond the Story, as it gives a more in depth look at basically whats summed up in this documentary, and a more consistent time line of events.

2025-05-03 14:23:40 +0000 UTCI'm not sure if someone said this yet, but all their music videos, photoshoots and concerts have behind the scenes. for concerts they show behind the scenes for the VCRs, the rehearsals and the performance days so u really get insight into how the shows get put together. For Yet to come in Busan, the behind is on YT. I know u have a lot of content to get thru and perhaps its already in the works to get to that but I think before u start the concert cycle again, maybe u should check out the behinds. I really love the ones for Wings, Wembley and MOTS

2025-05-03 14:10:41 +0000 UTCAlso they have always said they wanted to keep being together and being active as BTS as long as it was possible. there hasn’t been any single moment since chapter 2 that they said otherwise and even in the festa dinner they said it wasn’t a disbandment and later on each of the members solo promotions they individually said they want and hope to get back together and are excited to see how things will work as a group again now that they each have their solo experience

2025-05-03 06:38:32 +0000 UTCYes it definitely was a time of uncertainty for them and that’s why in the preview of next episode Jhope is saying that we need to have faith and trust them that everything they’re doing or choosing to do is the right decision. At that time it broke my heart the fact that they even had to ask us to trust them , to trust bts and have faith. But i guess they felt it was really was needed to ask for our trust in them. Anyways it was what i’ve always done. I only trust them and I’ll continue to do so 💜 (Side note: that’s why I hate when some “armys” get so caught up in rumors about them or start “analyzing” every single thing because that behavior is not needed at all and only generates more drama , like guys just trust bts and that they’re doing what they want to do!!!)

They were all crying. At the time, they were seriously considering disbanding. But instead, they chose to step back, reassess things, and find a way to continue — not just as a group, but as individuals pursuing their own goals while staying together. That moment, I believe, was the beginning of what we now know as Chapter 2. Interestingly, even before Chapter 2 officially began, the decision to stay together led to an explosion in their popularity.

2025-05-03 01:54:12 +0000 UTCAlthough it’s sad but I kinda appreciate and understand when they decided to paused BTS activities due to the military enlistment bcs before BTS, most kpop groups I know still released music as a group minus the enlisted member (the company wouldn’t risk losing their money by pausing promotions) some would release and promotes in units too. Since bts and army are all about the 7 ofc it wouldn’t be right to continue being bts with any member missing out. so naturally they knew its time to focus and grow individually before reuniting again as a group. I also think this is good for them so that they’ll not be any regrets or resentment? later on.. just giving the space and opportunity for the members to do everything they wanted or couldn’t do before..genres to try and experiment on. It’s proven enough since we can see how different their solo musics was compared to bts discography or even between members themselves. So I’m beyond excited to see what kind of music and directions they’re going when they come back!! Can you imagine the avengers reunited??!
