Welcome back for another FUN episode of Run BTS! Ep 80. Today it's Operation 007 Part 2. That's right, it's the second part of a two part episode that we started last week. Quick recap, the guys are at a mall playing games, finding cards and collecting hearts.
We enjoyed how much the guys really got int this game. And loved how everyone thought they were the winners. But the surprising winner of this one and the look on everyones face is priceless. 😮

2025-03-28 00:19:53 +0000 UTCSo let's explain the game mukkjippa You play rock paper scissor 1st round and see who wins. The one who wins needs to make sure the loser matches his next move. If he matches then thr winner wins the game If he doesn't match. Then you see who is leading in the second round. The one leading then becomes the new winner and has to try to get the loser to match in the third round. For eg. Round 1 A- ROCK B- SCISSOR A wins & is leading A will want B to match in round 2 Round 2 A changes to scissor B continues to stay scissor A WINS but if B Changes to Rock then B WON the round 2 So now B is leading. So B will try to get A to match in round 3 So this keeps going until the one leading the game gets the opposite side ro match him Get it?

2025-02-16 17:23:05 +0000 UTCI think Jin trying to wheel and deal with Hobi and Suga was all strategy. By letting them know he had the star card, and trying to give his hearts to them, he threw off any suspicion that he might actually have the most hearts.

How to play: you are given 2 consonants and must respond with a word that is spelled using those consonants as the starting ‘letter’. Remember, Korean is a combination of characters and is spelled/read in a ‘Z’ pattern. For example, when Jin played, (time stamp 24:45) he was given ㅃㄷ. Jin responded 뽀득. I hope this helps

2025-02-15 15:15:49 +0000 UTCHere is how to play Mook-Jji-Ppa: 1) do rock paper scissors 2) whoever wins can yell out MOOK ✊️, JJI✌️, or PPA ✋️ (& another way to do scissors is 👈 bc u use those fingers in the scissors holes?) 3) when one yells something, u change your hand (or keep it same) & if your opponent MATCHES, they lose *if no match, then the winning hand person gets to yell MOOK, JJI, or PPA next & if opponent matches, the matcher loses . So basically, you're trying to get your opponent to match u for u to win! & Mook Jji Ppa is a very commonly played game played in Korea. I played it far more than Rock Paper Scissors while growing up 😊

All the sound effects, the funny editor's comments (like writing "cutely whiny" when Tae got Capital Game), the slo-mo rewinds to show them just passing by cards they didnt notice, the little circles to show the viewers where the cards are, all ending with the amazing final reveal! Awesome ep!!!

2025-02-15 01:14:39 +0000 UTCSomeone can correct me if Im wrong but I think the rock paper scissors game was that whoever throws first (going back and forth) you have to do the counter...so i throw paper you have to throw scissors etc until one person messes up so i throw paper and you throw paper so you lose. I dont know if this is exactly right but I think its the gist of it.

2025-02-14 18:21:39 +0000 UTCI do a candy hunt every Halloween for the kids in my family. So instead of going trick or treating I buy a thousands of candy hide a bunch put them all over the walls and let the kids hunt them down. It’s so much fun and safer than taking candy from strangers.

From these 2 eps, I learned that as much as the members love & respect eachother, there is no limit to their lying, cheating and scheming when there are prizes and/or punishments involved....and we love it! It makes for plenty of laughs and great entertainment 🤣

If Hobi or Suga agreed, he would have laughed it off, because why did he come up with the clubbing idea right at the end? Like Daniel, we also had to learn all the capitals globally in the 10th, still remember most.

Now when you guys change your hands, if the other person matches your hand, you win. If they don't match and they win. Then now it's their turn and they want you to match their hand Example: Me: rock You: paper You win Next. Your turn. (You want me to match your hand now) Me: paper You:rock I win (I didn't match your hand so I need to make you match mine since I won't this regular rock paper scissors hand) Next Me:paper You:paper I win since I made you match with me Hopefully this helped. If not, the Game is called muk jji pa, im sure there are several explanations online lol

2025-02-14 15:36:58 +0000 UTCi wish i could watch this for the first time again like the pure shock on mine and everyone else’s face when the winner was announced is unmatched 😭 also to explain muk-jji-ppa (even though by the next time they play it you’ll probably forget again because you’ve actually seen this game in the run ep 53 (and i also explained it there lol) where they were at the supermarket deciding who was gonna walk to the accommodation instead of taking the bus, but since it wasnt a big part of the episode understandably you wouldn’t have focused on it much) basically you play a normal game of rock paper scissors first. whoever wins becomes the attacker whose goal is to get their opponent to match their hand. say daniel and summer played. if daniel played paper and summer played scissors, summer will now attack. you basically just shout muk (rock), jji (paper) or ppa (scissors) and hope that your opponent changes their hands to the exact thing as you. of course as the attacker, you also change your hand to whatever you shout lol. if summer says muk (rock) and changes her hand to rock but daniel doesn’t change and sticks with his paper, daniel now becomes the attacker since paper beats rock in normal RPS but it doesn’t mean he wins. you can only win when you get your opponent to match your hand, but to become the attacker you have to beat them the normal RPS way if that makes sense. if daniel as the attacker shouts ppa (scissors) (again you have to change your hand to what you shout too) and summer changes her hand from muk (rock) to ppa (scissors) then daniel was able to get his opponent to match his hand, meaning daniel wins. but if he shouts scissors and summer changes to paper, then daniel beats her hand in normal RPS and continues to be the attacker until he either gets summer to match his hand OR summer beats his hand and becomes the attacker herself. as for what the attackers say, it’s basically X-X-Y, where X is their current hand and Y is what hand they’re changing into next. so if i’m the attacker and i’m currently doing scissors (ppa) but want to switch to paper (jji), i say ppa-ppa-jji, where as soon as you say the third word, you switch your hand to whatever it is (in this case, jji is paper). tldr; it’s a very fast and leveled-up game of RPS i don’t think my brain can process the fact that it’s matching hands that win and not opposite hands lol
