How should we do Birthday weeks in 2025? (Help us decide!)

Me too but now people are upset about the schedule that CCW made for the first birthday since the change so it's just another lose lose situation. It's confusing cause they all voted for the change🤔

And as far as Suga's DDay doc..it is basically him traveling to meet up with people not so much about the songs..they saw a snippet of it and said "oh l want to see that" Summer even went as far as saying" l may watch that on my own" lol so they really wanted to see it so do it for his bday week..makes sense to me.

When you say the majority...you mean patreon because the over 100,000 subscribers to youtube have no say in the matter which is so unfair..whatever the vote is they will be wondering what happen to birthday weeks since they can't see or know what's going on without joining patreon. So ofcourse whatever patreon votes will win no matter what youtube wants.

Yes l suggested to them that there are so many videos showing the relationships between each of the members with another member.those type of videos really show how each one has a special relationship with each of the other members. They were mentioning when V was on Suga's show how they really haven't seen much about their relationship..so those types of videos would show a more personal side to all the different relationships they share with each other. They would be good for the birthday weeks.

It really wouldn't tho. All 7 members have already had a full Birthday week so if they want to change it up the time to do so is before they start the birthday celebrations for the new year. Also by having a poll they chose to let democracy decide which is the most fair way of doing things.

I honestly can’t decide 🤣🤣 there is so much OT7 content to cover before the boys are out and release more but on the other hand there is so much solo content that u need to react to also before the boys are out 🤣 their docu series, concerts, personality videos, vlogs, sketches!!! I don’t know if you were here around the time of the last two members’ birthdays last year but ccw hinted at the time that maybe things would change this year. It wouldn’t be weird to change now bc they did a full birthday week to all members last year, so if there’s a change it should be done before the first member’s bday this year, so it won’t be unfair to any of the 7 members.

What is so bad about spoilers they have seen the older documentries and didn't know half the songs when they watched them..so why can't they watch them now to be honest they're never gonna get to everything there is out there. Voted for Option 1! I like the way things are going & Army always does a birthday week for each member. I just wish we could suggest more than 30 mins of a video too. I mean regarding Hobi’s documentary it mainly focuses on his album launch and Lollapalooza and they already watched the Bangtan Bomb of his album launch and his Lollapalooza performance so despite not formally listening to the album/the lyrics, they already have heard the songs and seen content that ties into the doc. I don’t think they’d be missing much context if they chose to watch his documentary for his birthday week.

Option 2 all the way! BTS’ comeback is so close, and I feel like CCW has a lot of super important OT7 content yet to see. Majority of oficial content to be honest. Looking forward to finally seeing you reacting this year to their DVD’s for Summer and Winter packages, seasons greetings, FESTAS AND MUSTERS, MMA, MAMA, KBS/SBS etc. award shows performances, BTS Gayo & NOW, American Hustle Life, After school especial, running man OT7 episode, their yearly MEMORIES, OT7 Lives, BANGTAN bombs/episodes, and of course more Concerts! 🙏🏽

My own opinion is that with the solo members journeys, I crave OT7 reactions and seeing the members together! If an entire week is dedicated to a member, while I absolutely love the week focused on the member, a strong part wishes for OT7 content to be continued! So I voted for option 2!

they haven't listened to all the songs on the members albums that have documentaries tho. in hobi's case, they haven't listened to JITB yet, so watching his documentary would just include spoilers and they wouldn't really understand the context. same thing with yoongi, they haven't heard D2 or DDAY yet so his documentary wouldn't make sense to them either. I think its better to wait until they've heard the album that the documentary goes along with before watching them, as they would know the songs and have more context :) Also most of the documentaries are on disney+ which is not good to put on youtube (they're already playing with fire with putting are you sure on youtube) so the documentaries would likely just be patreon exclusive, leaving youtube with no birthday content.

Since Hobi’s bday is coming up, here is an example: Tuesday - song reaction 🐿️ Wednesday - ITS/DOC/OT7 content etc Thursday - personality reaction 🐿️ Friday - Run BTS Saturday - Run Jin/AYS I think each member deserves a special week. It’s only 7 out of 52 weeks. Also, How can we choose one video from the sketches, vlogs, bangtan bombs, interviews, documentaries, solo stages etc for the bday boy? 🥲 that’s why I voted for the birthday weeks to remain the same. It gives ccw a chance to get to a lot of solo stuff.

I hope the Birthday weeks remain the same as it is now. The whole week for the Birthday boy with contents in both Patreon and YT. Contents exclusive to Patreon is okay if you are doing documentary/ concerts/ tiny desks/ interviews/ special performances that cannot be posted in YT.

i’m a bit confused too cause i took it as a) yt gets bday videos and patreon gets exclusive bday videos, leaving a full week of solo reactions b) only yt gets bday content while patreon doesn’t get exclusive bday content. i may be entirely wrong tho.

I don’t mind if all the videos for the week are dedicated to one member, however, I wish that there’d be some longer videos allowed like there were during Tae’s birthday week. The 30 minute rule is quite stifling when it comes to picking content that fans have been waiting to see you react to. There’s so much longer content out there that would be great for birthday weeks (like Jimin’s production diary or RM’s Album commentary etc. which are both around an hour). They all almost have documentaries that it would be nice for you to react to during their birthday week. I’d rather see you react to one of those, even if it means dividing it up into separate days than to have days dedicate to some of the videos that have been chosen in the past. I think when the content that’s chosen isn’t perhaps toward the top of people’s list or the birthday week comes and the big things for each member they’ve been waiting for you to react to still aren’t there, then that’s when you start getting people that would just rather have another episode of something they get a lot of enjoyment out of (like In the Soop).

Have you guys considered just doing their solo documentaries for each birthday week? It's like killing two birds with one stone to me, since you will have to watch those at some point anyway. You could split them in parts throughout the week like you do for concerts and that means you don't have to record a bunch of extra videos for the week either

I think there might potentially be a misunderstanding - it sounds like the two choices are (a) Patreon and YT get the same videos vs (b) Patreon gets special videos. At least that’s how I understood when I read the poll since it’s worded “Patreon and YT both get birthday videos” so people might choose the option that explicitly states Patreon videos are exclusive without fully understanding the implications

I look forward to birthday weeks. I hope it remains the same as it is now. It's only 7 weeks out of the year. The members have birthdays close to each other which is probably the reason why people feel upset about birthday weeks interrupting the regular schedule.

I always look forward to birthday weeks because it's a full week focus on that member and they get to content that they skip during the regular schedule. It's only one week so I don't see the issue. It's only 7 weeks out of 52, and, I have to say, I've been looking forward to Hobi's birthday week forever because I feel like his content is few and far between. The birthday week at least guarantees that you have time to check out that content. And you're so behind on some of their solo stuff, the whole week will really help cover some of the big stuff. Also, I fear that if you do change it up, people will complain and you'll end up changing it AFTER you've already cut half of Hobi Week. Please continue doing what you're doing. I personally didn’t see anything wrong with how you did birthday weeks before and as some commenters have said it’s 7 weeks out of 52. What I find with these birthdays, ARMY countdown to it, celebrate it for a long time before and after so just two to three videos about it for yt, personally feels a bit 😕. So I chose what I preferred but I hope whatever you choose to decide aids you in anyway in the future. I do however hope if you’re just posting to yt, it’ll be significant videos, hobis doc/Yoongi IU palette etc. 💜💜

I don't mind if they want to change it up for this year and see how it works. Life is about experimenting. I do enjoy having a whole week dedicated to some fun solo content, but I'm also down for them doing half and half. I love that they're letting us express our opinions before deciding, and it shows how much they care about us as an audience. I think it’s good that you are letting people vote to clear things up. However I do feel people needs to maybe just chill a bit because we all discovered and watched BTS content in our on way and pace. There is so much content and while I think it’s important we guide and give suggestions to CCW I think its important to remember we all had our own journey with BTS.
