Boy did we miss this show and the ping pong, the fishing and THE FOOD! 🤣 We even work on our Korean a bit today. Excited for episode 5!

Love seeing yall looking up what the Korean food is because it shows a genuine desire to learn about their lives & Korean culture. P.S. the soda Chilsung has the 1st syllable chil which also means the number 7 in Korean - that's why the guys were going around saying ILsung (1 sung), EEsung (2 sung) up to CHILsung for the 7th member. (& esp funny when Jin was the 3rd one bc number 3 is SAM in Korean so he should say SAMsung but that's also the name of the phone brand so he held up his phone 😆)

On your next reactions, can you turn the volume up a notch of what you're watching please? Coz the sound is too low and I can't turn the volume for as much as I want because your voices would be too loud. Maybe you and the video you are reacting to could have the same volume.

TJ actually has some pretty decent Korean food. They have pajeon, tteokbokki, and bulgogi. You can also get kimbap if they aren't sold out. Definitely recommend you guys do a mukbang!

2024-10-02 23:17:14 +0000 UTCHotteok is very good. You can make it from scratch but you can also buy it sometimes at the grocery stores in the international isle. I ordered some mixture on Amazon myself for my 2nd attempt (first time I did from scratch but wanted to see if there was a difference from pre-made). It's great for a snack though keep in mind it is a desert so it's not exactly healthy with how much brown sugar is in it. Also, you can make variations of it for different fillings such as savory fillings to make it a more healthy snack instead of desert.

They have it on the BTS recipe book I only have one of the books I am waiting for the second one. They have great recipes some from in the soop

2024-10-02 16:19:27 +0000 UTCLol 😂😂😂I laughed a lot because hotteok and nurungji have different pronunciations of the translator. Ho-tteok, Noo-loo ng-ji << this is more similar to the pronunciation. Nurungji means rice that is pressed against the bottom of a pot after cooking it. In Korea, people boil Nurungji in water, or steam rice is made into Nurungji. Taehyung made was to sprinkle steam rice with a little water in a pan without anything on it, spread the rice, dissipate the moisture, bake it, and eat it with sugar. You can probably buy it at a Korean mart too, if you think it's too hard, I recommend cutting it into bite-sized pieces, frying it in an oily pan, and sprinkling it with sugar. In the past, my grandmother used to do that as a snack.☺️

2024-10-02 15:52:39 +0000 UTCHotteok is yummy. You can buy the frozen ones and pan fry them. But be patient, it takes quite a while for them to be cooked thoroughly. They might look nicely cooked on the outside after a while but the flour inside could be still raw. After they’re done, the brown sugar inside will be melted and they are extremely hot!

So please do bring a bit of the banter back, at least in short reactions. Second, episode 5 probably after 2 weeks 😟 , but we should celebrate Jimin's 29th and JHope's discharge ( yay, 15 more days). But really hope we finish at a stretch before Jin's birthday, these long breaks kill the chilling vacation vibe of ITS.
