Welcome back. Today we are watching RM Live in New York. We are excited for this one! 😁 When Wildflower first came out this was a HIGHLY requested video so we are happy to be getting around to it. And what better timing then for RM Birthday week.
Today we are LOVING RM's artisitc vision! All these museum shots are just amazing! And the songs. Too hard to pick a favorite out of this batch. Glad we finally got around to see this.

Same sentiment as Abby, I don't have 7 different concert tickets money, tbh. 😅 But you know what, that vision of having the boys do their solo stuff, they do that already in their previous concerts. Only, those were their solos in their BTS albums. Most probably this time, when they'll have a tour after military, they will perform their group songs (hoping for a new BTS album by 2025/2026); then in between will be their solo songs from chapter 2. Yoongi and Tae mentioned doing that in Suchwita. How amazing their setlist would be. Now, that's what I am looking forward to! 💜💜💜

This Dia Beacon presentation was like a museum in itself, you can interpret in your own way. For example the walk around the rocks in No.2 felt like life and he is just moving ahead.

2024-09-14 01:12:22 +0000 UTCI hope you guys get to listen to Indigo as a whole from start to finish to really understand Joon's story and message for the album and afterwards I would suggest watching his video explaining the making of Indigo with all the featured artists. I think it will just tie it all together perfectly. Indigo is a work of art, it's a beautiful picture of Joon's life in his twenties and he painted so perfectly. His vulnerability and honesty is so comendable. I think that's why it's important to listen to it like you're reading a book, without skipping any chapters or reading ahead etc💜 Hopefully when you do solo album reactions, you listen to the full album and not just the songs you haven't heard yet.💜

There was a period of about 9 mths where I HAD to start my day listening to it from start to finish. I second all the comments suggesting the Rolling Hall concert and the Album Magazine film. Even though it's been two years, I still cry every time I hear Wildflower or No. 2. (But no album will ever be able to top my love for mono; I'm sure you'll all fall in love with it once the solo albums come out.) There’s actually a full album making documentary for Indigo, complete with interviews with the artists and producers that he worked with. I would recommend watching that as well. You get an insight as to how incredibly deep and masterful this album is. I would say this is a complete package of an album, a true no-skip album. The way the tracklist is set up is intentional as well, so it would be best to listen to the tracks in order. Indigo is the archive of his 20s. Also, special mention to No.2 — he (RM) mentioned on the “All-Day with RM” vlog that a lot of people cried when they first heard the song. I think it was mentioned somewhere that some of their staff cried when they initially heard the song. When you read the lyrics and understand the significance also the backstory of the featuring artist on No.2 (Park Ji Yoon)… you’d be amazed. The song showcases resilience in spite of vulnerability. Great choice on the Dia Beacon video! Cheers to Namjoonie (who is now a year older than 29… lol)

If you want to know more about the creative process of how Namjoon made this album as well as how he chose artists he collaborated with (because all the songs in Indigo are collaborations) and why he picked those songs with the artists, you have to watch “Indigo Album Magazine Film.” 40mins flew by! I was enthralled by Joonie’s mind (we all are!) especially when it pertains to his creativity and artistry. I appreciated Indigo even more after watching it. And yes I agree! Love Namjoon’s choices for the locations and everything that went with his Dia Beacon performances. There’s a Bangtan Bomb (behind the scenes) for this too! Thanks for yet another great reaction! 💜

When you guys eventually do the full album listen you should throw in that live performance too if the schedule permits it 🙏🏾💜

2024-09-13 14:34:46 +0000 UTCI went to Dia Beacon because of RM. The staff graciously marked my museum map where RM shot his stuff and where he actually lingered inside. My fave was the John Chamberlain exhibition where there were crushed cars made into art and this was shown in RM’s MV. (STILL LIFE) Also loved Dan Flavin’s exhibition where RM was singing among the pillars with the green flooded lights (CHANGE PT 2). . Also my fave was the spot outside where he was singing between the trees (WILDFLOWER). I took the Hudson Line train to get there as I live in NY. RM also took the same train from NYC. I loved Dia Beacon. I was fretting to go with my gf, because I didnt want to miss the exhibitions because they do change. I was so giddy and smiley the whole time I was there. That’s the Bts effect when I get to visit a place related to them lol. I somehow understood why RM chose that place. Its so expansive and unique. He also became an ambassador somewhat for Dia. 💜
