Tanghulu is a Chinese food trend that's made it's way to many places. It's fruit (often berries), on a stick that's covered in hot/liquid sugar. Then it's left to cool & harden and that's how you get the clear coating and the crunch when you bite into the fruit. It's a popular street food now 😋

He was laughing & frustrated at the subtitles too coz they were messing it up & had to translate what Jin was saying to his viewers 😂 He said basically, production had a script already prepared & the translations for that were all ready, and when Jin goes off script or improv, the subtitles got messed up 😂

2024-07-07 11:34:17 +0000 UTCHi guys, I was there (not in the stadium itself) but just outside wishing that they would telecast it at the big screen at the FESTA location. But sadly no.. so many ARMY who didn't win the tickets, were sitting around watching the show on their phones. For me, the network was not so good that I had to just slowly make my way back to my hotel and watch it later. But I cannot deny, I cried watching Jin performed The Astronaut then and I still cry watching this video reaction. The song just does that for me, everytime. I'm so happy to be able to be in Seoul during FESTA this year and bask in the atmosphere among other ARMY. It was surreal. Probably going back again next year to celebrate FESTA 2025 when all the members come out.. can't wait!

2024-07-06 17:36:36 +0000 UTCI was extremely lucky to be in the room that day and before he arrived, we started chanting "Kim Seokjin" over and over again for at least 5 min non-stop. It was like a plea, the end of too many months of pain, waiting, and it was culminating, the chant becoming louder and louder until The Astronaut started. It was like we summoned him in a way. My heart was beating so fast and when the song started, I started ugly crying. Completely in tears even before he arrived, just hearing those notes. And then he appeared on his bike and I cried the rest of the song. It was the most powerful, raw, deep cry, it was intense and liberating, it felt amazing. And when they will all come back... I can't even imagine.

I watched it live and my face ached afterwards because I had the biggest grin on me the whole time. There was an ongoing battle with the company for the hug event, from wanting it outside and hugging whoever came, management bargained it down to inside and 1000 fans with 4000 attending the part we just watched, all drawn from a raffle. They all received a beautiful flower bouquet and a present which included a clock and BTS photo cards. Yes all of them received this. Jin has also told fans that not to expect other members to do a hug event and not to pressure them to do so. Jin as usual did it his way, he had promised the first thing he would do was a V live as soon as he was discharged and that is what he did. Even if you can’t review it please watch it is so Jin. He received so many commendations in the military which he is very proud of as are we. I think the only solo song of Jin’s you have not reviewed is his OST ‘Yours’ best watched from the original Drama promo video not Big Hits version. I hope you will review it before his new stuff. It’s very orchestral so Daniel and Gabriel would be in their element. Thank you again for this review I have watched it several times and each time I love it more. I think his album will be full of surprises for us and I am looking forward to a Suga song that he promised Jin, because I think he is a wonderful song writer. Love from Western Australia.💜💜💜💜

2024-07-06 08:40:01 +0000 UTCOh i'm not saying he doesn't talk to ARMY in concerts, but mostly when the other members were also on stage together, and yes he did the heart event but as I recall he wasn't alone on stage as well. I mean in concerts, they never got chance to have long conversations with the audience when 1 member stood alone on stage, the long "talk time" was always when all 7 of them stood together. Also, when I said his voice cracked, I'm definitely not referring to when he sang, he sang perfectly! I was referring to a few times he was talking, getting a bit emotional & holding his tears almost cried e.g. 1:06:24 in the CCW reaction video.

He also has had his own events in concerts like the famous ‘Heart’ event, he is definitely not shy on stage as this showed. He may have been nervous to start off with but warmed up quickly. As far as his singing goes it was perfect to me, I never noticed his voice cracking at all and as Daniel said he was on pitch with all his songs. There are not many people that can have 18 months off and sing as well as he did and show such warmth on stage.

You are all crying you are not seeing enough of your bias content even though CCW are keeping track and trying to be fair. I am not only sad but ashamed of your comments as there are plenty of group reviews where your comments are more appropriate. This was Jin’s time to shine and soon Hobi will be home and his time. Yes we get translations but it never fully translates unless you really understand the Korean humor or trends currently happening. that would explain why you guys tend to be lost is some of these challenges… just wanted to point that out lol. These are also insiders with armys so it might be even more confusing on your end lol. I’m glad you guys watched this tho, this event is just another example of how much they love armys. Jin is so amazing for even doing this right after his discharge. 💜 tears of joy everytime I watch his performances, he’s really back !

There was an army who heard him practicing the day before and they didn't know whether to post it or not because spoilers! They ended up posting it after the event so they wouldn't ruin the surprise. He had 2 rehearsals, the day before and I think one the day of and that was it. He sounds so good. As an English teacher I love the first challenge. I'm pretty sure Moon had not been performed in front of armys at all, only online. That was his first time singing it live that I can remember. And I think everyone underestitmates how much the guys missing performing. For months the members have been talking about how much Jin misses performing. I wasn't surprised at all that he jumped into Festa head first.

RM did a few MVs too and they did a week of Jin. Not complaining in any of those but I can see what you mean. It would feel not as much because they didn’t get to react to I Hate You or Fallon when it came out. And when they did Never Let Go it was together with another RM content. But also because it’s been some time since JK has any content so it feels sparse. And when they reacted it was one at a time as opposed to how they did a week for RM, V, Hobi, Jin. I remember they had a sheet tallying how many they have reacted per member and they showed they reacted more with Jk. So I’m just waiting patiently. Maybe they can do the JK-Jimin travel show. Jin did all this the day after his discharge. The company didn't make him do all this; he chose to do it for ARMY. He looks younger and cuter. Everything was so cute, and the challenges were fun. His dance to "Seven" is a cuter version, lol. The whole EatJin segment gets me crazy every time I re-watch it. His vocals are stable; I swear he's gotten better. At the end of the "Moon" performance, he got emotional and held back his tears. Jin really missed ARMY. He said this is home. Where he belongs is with ARMY 😭😭. I missed him so much. I'm so glad he's back with us. Waiting for soloist Jin and all the content he's going to give us. Jin being selected as a torchbearer representing his country is such an honor; I can't wait to see it. I love you Jin thankyou for existing. My favorite idol 😭

2024-07-05 17:46:15 +0000 UTCYou would expect that Jin would rest right after this, but he is literally the definition of "Never let them know your next move" -- Jin has been booked and busy (recording his new album, variety shows, prepping to be a torchbearer for the OLYMPICS) this whole time -- and it's only been three weeks since he discharged!! ARMY has so much to look forward to for the rest of this year! They were supposed to go into the military as soon as the MOT7 tour finished in 2020, but the pandemic happened. So, they've been planning EVERYTHING for two years prior to their enlistment dates. We joke that BigHit has had everything mapped out since they've debuted, but it seriously feels that way. BTS and BigHit have really changed how some view military enlistment breaks because no other group has been so "active" during their hiatus. They have prerecorded so much content to make sure that ARMY is never without BTS' presence.

2024-07-05 16:35:50 +0000 UTCi would disagree!! they’ve done a lot of jk solo stuff!! i would actually say that jimin is the one they’ve reacted to the least from his solo era!! there’s not a live performance reaction from face or any other content from that era yet!! they’ve done a good chunk of jk’s golden content and also they recently did jk’s new song and the usher remix of snty. they’re working their way through stuff and they’ve always been transparent about their process and how sometimes it won’t be perfect but it’s the most organized way they’ve come up with so far. and ofc they’re gonna also try to prioritize the new stuff as it comes out as well!! and jk hasn’t released new stuff aside from the fan song.

Jin's voice cracked few times & me just... balled my eyes out... Then the hand kiss!! Our Jin's finally BACK 🥹. It's only the next day after the discharge, he didn't have time for any practices or rehearsals, but he just wanted to do this. In concerts, they always talk one after another with all 7 on stage. I don't recall Jin talking to ARMY on stage by himself. Also, Jin's known to go red when he's the focus. After 18 months of not performing on stage, for him to talk that much and do all the challenges by himself after 18 months, he probably got super nervous.

I've watched this with my ARMY bomb haha, I cried when he sang "The Astronaut" and the way he misses his members is sooooo adorable and made me realize how much I miss the members a lot, too. No worries about the technical issues hehe, it happens. Most of the challenges are from Korea, so I also didn't know much of them - but I LOVE THEM since Jin was doing it lols. For the challenges, at first Jin was actually doing some "pick-up" lines, not sure if you know them but it's "cheesy" lines to make someone blush or something like that - It's more of a "fanservice" thing. The korean language hehe, so it's like there are some korean words that sounds the same but has different meaning and they are using it to make some cheesy lines or something like that.

Despite what you “feel”, they aren’t ignoring Jungkook.
