I know this is old but in chile our seasons are switched, we dont have "cold summers", we just have winter at a different time of the year. December is in summer for us.

A lo que iba, acabo de ver el primer capรญtulo de esta temporada y mencionaron a Chile por el clima y la diferencia de temperaturas por las estaciones por este lado del planeta, solo quiero mencionar, acรก tenemos cuatro estaciones Verano Otoรฑo Invierno y ยดprimavera, en ese orden comenzando el aรฑo, y las estaciones son muy marcadas, con el cambio climรกtico los veranos son tan calurosos que llegados a los 40 grados, y los inviernos con temperaturas bajo cero, en este momento es pleno invierno y en el lado sur de nuestro paรญs el mar se esta congelando y las nevazones son intensas, somos un poco intensos jajajajajaj. Un fuerte abrazo a la distancia, muchos besos y los seguire esperando sus actualizaciones........ :),,,,,,,

2024-05-18 17:58:41 +0000 UTCindonesian here ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ and even as a fellow southeast asian, i feel very proud too! i can say that SQ is one of my favorite airlines ever (beside our garuda indonesia)! also, i had so many layovers in changi whenever i travel abroad that i become very familiar with the airport, and it becomes my go-to transit destination. both airline and airport have always been giving me a great travel experience, so kudos to the hardworking SQ and changi crews! p.s. i'd be hiding and just admiring from a distance if i were to see sope at changi ๐

I live in the Southern Hemisphere, so I can try to explain it better to you. Here the seasons are the opposite of those in the Northern Hemisphere, so when it's winter for you, here it's summer, which is why the description of the program said that it was filmed at the beginning of spring, since in the Southern Hemisphere spring starts in September (yes, it's not just the feeling that's opposite to the Northern Hemisphere, the season itself is too, so for us summer starts in December, fall in March, winter in June and spring in September!) Fun fact: that's why during the school term our longest vacation period is actually in December and January, because that's our summer, our winter vacation is only one month, July.

If you guess the filming period is around September 13th to 6th, you can see why Singapore Airlines prepared a cake for them. Namjoon's birthday is September 12th and Jungkook's birthday is September 1st. I almost went into the grave waiting for the reaction to Bon Voyage 4 ๐คฃ I'm so happy to see the reaction. ๐ฅฐ I'll be waiting for In the soop season 1 and 2!

At the same time protecting them (2) If they are by chance in camera. They are blurred. So like you were asking that that 1 person was close to Jin. He was the staff (3) The more time you'll see these episodes (like us ๐ ) the more you'll notice the fans & crowd around them. The security just have a good way of blocking them while they are filming

I have watched it several times over. ๐ฅน๐I think you'll agree once you get into it further that BV4 just hits different from the other seasons. It's so relaxed (not without it's momentsโข๏ธ though ๐ ) and it's just them traveling.

There are some ARMY who have approached them, I know it's difficult to ignore them, but for the most part, we try to let them be. Also, regarding airports, these are flights that HYBE books secretly. If "fans" find them, then they get the details through bad ways. So their seasons are just flipped. Autumn in the west is spring there, winter is summer, spring is autumn and summer is winter. Same for Australia, so when i was in Australia afterwards in December to January it was summer and boiling hot. So when they were there in September it basically would of been the end of winter.

The airport itself is an attraction! Anyway, back when this was happening, ARMY knew that the boys had gotten together just at the end of their break to film BV4. We were all anticipating their next destination. News broke out that morning as they were leaving the airport, (you think there's no one, but there were already a lot of reporters and fans there), we were all so excited that they were all back together and going somewhere. So when we got the news that they took Singapore Airline at that particular time, SG Army went to work figuring out why they might be coming to SG, eventually we realised that they were going NZ after a short layover here.. SG Army just got super excited.. (we went nuts on Twitter!) thinking we'd be breathing the same air with the boys, even for a moment. So thankful that the airline treated them well. Having walked around the transit area many times before, on my part, I cannot imagine if I were to bump into Suga or J-Hope out of the blue while they are walking around. I'd probably froze or wave and smile from a distance. Haha.. Been to NZ both North and South Island. One of my most memorable trips as I did a self-drive tour too, just in a SUV. The scenery were gorgeous and everything was just so pretty. Went there in June, so it was in the middle of winter. Cold but not bitter cold. You guys should make a trip to NZ.. and fly Singapore Airlines! Hehehehe..

Love NZ's winter (& yes AU & NZ has opposite seasons as you guys), average 8ยฐ / -1ยฐ down town's warm enougth to do all sorts of activities but cool on the mountain tops with snow for skiing, BEAUTIFUL wallpaper-like scenery (FYI- south & north island with completely different landscape), great fresh food too! I've been to a few spots they visited (a campervan trip to the remaining spots for my next trip!). I looked up their accommodation but... too expensive for me same as a business class flight that would give me a whole Birthday cake XD)! Love they're no longer had a limited budget+better cameras! Except - hate the need to cover JK's tatts!! The home they filmed their packing was their dorm before their chapter 2 solo activities! You can find it in Life Goes On MV, Grammy nomination reaction clip (when RM threw his phone XD), RunBTS episode, Vlives & more! Lol love you guys never-ended-intro/outro! You guys really has to go on CCW BTS Bon Voyage trip, we need the vlogs too!

Yes its still a bit cold here in NZ at the beg of sep and also South Island is colder than the North because its closer to the antarctic. I mean you were minutes away from finding out yourselves so not sure why that was necessary. Also if you re-watch your reaction, everyone was so worried about guessing where they were going when you were also minutes from finding out that 3 of you did not read the New Zealand announcement or questioned why Abby screamed it out and just dismissed it like she was guessing again.

When your summer starts, our winter starts, and we call it winter and not summer. So, for example, Christmas for us happens during the summer.

2024-05-08 22:36:52 +0000 UTCI don't see in a quick perusal of the comments that anyone has said this--but I'm assuming that Singapore Airlines was a sponsor (or they got free/reduced tickets) because that explains the eye-candy images (at least 2) of the plane in the sky flying. Also, it explains why they don't mention what airline Jin is flying on, and they don't show the plane--that was a last-minute change and they must have paid big bucks for that flight.

Thatโs completely different from the special forces JK said he wanted to join, aka army special warfare - which has a duration of four years of training instead of 18 months, and nothing to do with having or not having tattoos.

I got a little teary when Hobi, Jimin, and Tae ran up to Jin to hug him when they were reunited. The members were only apart a few hours, but they are still so excited to be back together. Great reaction! Looking forward to this season.

But our fall is HOT (only "cold" nights), spring too. Winter you can have here 1 month and a half cold (sadly). That's why it was filmed in September which is early spring in New Zealand! So from December to February is summer, March to May is fall, June to August is winter and September to November is spring; is not that is cold in the summer and hot on the winters, they are just opposite hehe; happens the same in Chile and Argentina because they are also in the Southern Hemisphere, far from the Equator.

Jin flew direct from Korea to Auckland on the North Island then had to get a short connecting flight (1.5 hrs) from Aukland to Christchurch. I think they were mostly if not entirely based on South Island.

This was filmed end of September/early October in 2019 so early spring in New Zeeland. Knowing what happened in 2020 I am glad they got to do this season then and fulfill a lot of wishes.

He got so much backlash for his tattoo for many reasons ( generally idols dont have visible tattoos , his tatto artist was a woman and there were rumours about the two of them ) Seeing him wear long sleeves and gloves all the time is a little hard. Although now he has broken a stereotype in kpop and wears his tatoo sleeve proudly while still being humble and polite and kind , back then it was something new and unfortunately he had to endure some unfair accusations and treatment. And at the time he only had the ARMY letters on his hand . He should be able to display that proudly and freely . Its the sweetest honour.

You may notice a quality upgrade for this season in terms of recording and editing, and part of the reason is because you barely see staffs compared with S1-3.

Hence September when they filmed is Spring. So just think opposite our Winter is your Summer etc. This is my favourite Bon Voyage as I had been to NZ a few years before and went to many places they did like Queenstown, โThe Soundsโ and I even hired a car there to drive from Queenstown down to the most southern part Invercargill. It is such a breathtaking place. I have travelled to many places and my favourite places in Europe is the UK ( my birthplace), Switzerland and Italy and besides there New Zealand and South Korea. You are going to really enjoy this season. ๐๐๐๐

From what I remember, it wasn't necessarily the tattoos themselves that stirred up the drama (although there were people criticizing them too) but rather the fact that one of the tattoo artists was a woman. There were leaked photos/cctv footage circling around of them hanging out in the same friend group so it sparked dating rumors which were quite harsh on them, as people were harassing both Jungkook, the female tattoo artist and the tattoo shop's manager and owner... I felt so bad when i saw JK apologizing at the end :/ None of it was his fault and if anything, he and his friends were the ones who should've been apologized to. I'm glad that's far in the past by now and his attitude towards ill natured criticism has changed and he's not afraid to stand his ground, all while being proud of himself and his tattoos.

Episode 0 was released on their YouTube channel and then about a week later, Episode 1 aired.

There this one interview and the staff asked them where they want to go and one or two of the boys said they want to visit NZ. this is my favourite BV of all and i wantched this always if i feel sad and miss the boys coz this is the 1st BV that i wantched.. hehehe and mostly of the place that they went i went there too before i became an ARMY. Then just last year januany and sept i went back there and took a picture again to the places that theyโve been and it is surreal..

Also you guys should watch a video on the chaos at the airports when army knows they are comming or leaving. There are many fantastic holidays parks to park your RV so you can cook/shower/have bathroom breaks in NZ. Also, we've flown Singapore biz class which is great but the best 1st class we've flown on is Emirates where we have our own individual "cabins" and you have your own private chef. Like a typical boy, instead of the lobster, caviar, fillet mignon which was on offer, my son asked the chef to cook him Korean spicy instant ramyun! xoxo

Winter is around June to September for them, and they would call it their winter months. As this was filmed in September (given JK and RMโs birthdays), it would be end of winter and early spring for New Zealand. Bon Voyage is usually filmed around August to September which is why it was summer when they were in Hawaii and Malta but winter/spring in New Zealand.

So if the boys travelled in September the Southern Hemisphere was coming out of Winter into Spring, whilst you were going from Fall to Winter. Lil geography tea, New Zealand is made up of two islands, North & South. Auckland = North Island (Jin's stop) Christchurch = South Island (the rest of the members flew from Singapore straight to Christchurch)
