Welcome back for a special RUN BTS on a Thursday! 39 and 41 went together so we wanted to get these out as close together as we could. It's BTS Golden Bell PART 1.
Today, Jin is our MC and everyone else is splitting up into 2 teams to compete. π

2024-03-24 17:23:13 +0000 UTCThis might sound off topic, but when I first started listening to BTS I was just casually checking them out. And even when I started to learn their faces and names and more about them, I still feel like I couldn't say I was a part of ARMY(I had never been a part of a fandom before) because I had felt like I didn't have the right to since I hadn't known them long and still didn't know much. Even when I had really fallen in love with all that I knew of them at that time I was still hesitant to call myself ARMY. Finally I started to realize that I shouldn't compare my love for them to what I thought others was, BTS would have even said I could love them just because I just found them. This was one of the things BTS taught me, that I'm allowed to feel whatever I feel. I kind of had to remind myself about this again when I went to my first BTS concert. I saw all these ARMY's talking about how they cry at concerts and when I finally went to my first I expected to cry(Some BTS songs has already made me cry), but even though it was an amazing night I didn't cry and that made me feel like something was wrong with me. It's stupid, but I even questioned if I loved BTS enough. I finally understood that it's not about what others feel or how they react, I know I love them and maybe I don't always react to them like some others, but that's okay because I love them how I myself should. Anyway, my point is everyone has different ways of reacting to things, but that doesn't mean they aren't feeling something. I hope Gabriel and the rest of CCW continue to be themselves. P.s I did end up crying when I saw BTS for my second concert in Vegas 2022 lol!

I remember them saying that at concerts Gabriel LOVES, he's absolutely silent the whole time lol And I actually relate to that, bc I've been lucky enough to attend one BTS concert, and I was the same way π some ppl are just less vocal/outwardly emotive than others, it doesn't automatically = disinterest

He doesnt talk a lot like the others but there is always substance in his comments and there are times he notice things I didnt when I already watched the video many times, so it means he is really into it. They talked about it many times as well in the past, he can be at the greatest concert of his life and still have the same facial expression plus he said on other videos that he cant read fast so these type of eps we know that he is exerting more effort to focus so hopefully were not seeing that as he is not interested.

2024-03-21 20:06:45 +0000 UTCThis episode highlights just how quick-witted and clever Jin is, imo, because I have played a game similar to Yes/No before where I had to try to trick someone into saying certain key words and it is extremely difficult to come up with a question, listen to the response, and then immediately create follow-up questions. We know heβs incredibly smart already with how he comes up with puns and βdadβ jokes using plays on words in multiple languages (Korean, English, Japanese, and even Chinese characters sometimes-boggles my mind!), but this episode made me realize how FAST his brain moves. Also, I think it would be really fun to see him guest host a few episodes of a Korean game/variety show-he would be awesome at it. The members silly dancing when they win a game is adorable, btw. Great reaction! It was fun re-watching this with yaβll.

2024-03-21 20:01:35 +0000 UTCAgree wholeheartedly! Bangtan are genuinely one of the funniest/wittiest entertainers I enjoy watching, and Run BTS is my go-to. AND YET.... it's so funny bc I often clock myself THINKING "hahah that was funny"... but being absolutely stone faced on the outside LOL. And yeah, I'd much rather no one feel pressured to "put on a show" for the camera. A prime example of that is Yoongi lol. I love that he doesn't play up anything, for ANY content. He keeps it real, energetic or subdued etc

So since it's pretty rare they don't pause to read, when it happens I'm like eh, no biggie

Like for ex, there's a famous English pun "*Orange* you glad I didn't say banana?" Because "orange" sounds like "aren't". But if you translated that to Spanish... it'd be like "Naranja estas feliz? No dije plΓ‘tano." And that is no longer a pun, and it does not make sense in Spanish LOL. So just know any time there are weirdly phrased questions, assume they're riddles or Korean puns!

But that dont mean I dont enjoy and find amusement in what I am watching. I rather see a genuine reaction (even if its a quiet one) rather then a over the top one.

We just have to trust them that when they're recording they're really willing to do that. It might not be at 100% energy for other people's standards but the interest is def there!

2024-03-21 18:07:45 +0000 UTCHi! Most of them are play on words or puns in Korean! I don't know how to explain most of them and the subtitles here don't help. But, for instance, there is one of them that is easy to understand: "How long does it take for oil to arrive? 5 days" In Korean, five days is "oh-il", which sounds like "oil". Most of the questions are of that nature... but in Korean haha the meaning is lost in translation. Hope that helps!!

Any time they ask questions and it doesn't seem to make sense in English, you can kind of assume/get the word play vibe lol. Korean is apparently a very worldplay-friendly language.
