2024-02-20 11:38:38 +0000 UTCI wrote it was a stretch to have learnt EVERYTHING from his parents as I do not believe at the age of 13/14 yrs he left Busan being a great cook or I am sure we would have some video documentation of it .i also mentioned that he had learnt a lot from You Tube clips over the last few years and said he has taught Jin things from them. Why is it so bad to say he learnt a lot from Jin and Suga? He was with them daily from the age of 13/14 yrs and so it would have been natural for him to have learned things. I do not deny that his parents have also taught as that is natural as well but, he has spent the majority of his time the last eleven years with his members. My comment does not denigrate Jungkooks abilities at all, but like every teenager he learned things from the people around him. I am not sure why you think it is wrong to say he has learned things from his members as he himself has stated this many times, and he does not lie! As he grew older he taught himself and teaches others because he is now an adult, that does not negate the fact that when he was younger he also learned much from his members.

I'm sure he did learn a few things from the Suga and Jin but we can't say it's a stretch to learn from his parents. We don't know what goes on off camera, he could also be self taught for all we know. I think we as a fandom really don't give credit to JK when it's due we always say he learnt this and that from so and so member, can we not give him credit solely like we do with other members. This is not me denying that he did learn from the others and I'm sure the others also learnt things from him, just because he is the youngest does not mean he knows nothing for himself.

2024-02-18 14:10:39 +0000 UTCI am sure he knew basics of cooking but he was only 13/ 14yrs old prior to joining, it would be a stretch to say he learnt everything from his parents. After being in the kitchen with Jin and Suga for years he has obviously learnt heaps from them, as well as other sources. We have seen Jin teach him things as well. If you watch In the Soop 1, Jin taught Tae and him how to toss a pajeon which he had never done before, ( Pajeon is a staple dish in Korea). During In the Soop 2 he taught him how to purge shell fish and how to test if noodles/spaghetti is ready, how to make noodles chewier! I know the last few years he has been You Tubing and learning new dishes and is now an excellent cook. He even looked up how to fillet a salmon on Bon Voyage 4 and showed Jin who as always praised him. I never said he could not cook prior, ( I have been unable to find the clip where he says he was taught to cook by his parents, perhaps you can direct me to it). What I did say however was he learned a lot from them both, as would anyone who is always in the kitchen with people who are excellent cooks.

Your making it seem like he learned absolutely everything he knows about cooking from Jin and Yoongi, lol. It was his Parents who taught him how to cook, he's said this before

2024-02-18 06:12:53 +0000 UTCJin was initially the only cook in the group and he usually had Jungkook and Jimin with him to help. Suga learnt to cook from his brother and started cooking more in the series. It is now known that Jin and Suga are the main cooks. Suga is great with steak and hot pot dishes. Jin pretty much everything including Pajeon (Korean savoury Pancake) and especially seafood. Jungkook was always in the kitchen with them and is now an excellent cook having watched and learned from them both. Jimin and J Hope also help a lot and can do certain things. V and RM were always the clean up crew. Bon voyage 4 and In the Soop you will see them. Poking a lot. Looking forward to it. There are some great cooking episodes coming up. 💜💜💜💜

I blame you guys for it, because in Australia, your video drops at 2am and I usually stay up to watch it, if it’s a reaction I am eagerly waiting for hehehehe no it’s my fault! ☹️ I should just wait for the morning lol

2024-02-17 16:29:11 +0000 UTCYour convo about dishwashers was funny, but actually dishwashers are not that common in other parts of the world. In Europe they are pretty rare. Only very modern appartment have them instaled now in my country. They are pretty rare in Korea too, probably the same as Europe. So washing dished manually is very common. Even in BV 4 you will see bts members usually wash dishes manually.

2024-02-17 16:25:01 +0000 UTCI would never have thought as a baby ARMY that some of my absolute favorite BTS content would be the members cooking and eating together. Being in a kitchen together really highlights how comfortable the bond they have with each other is. All the different variations of cooking episodes on Run BTS are excellent and I can’t wait for CCW to get to In the Soop. Rewatching this after seeing how well Tae did cooking on Jinny’s Kitchen is kind of mind-blowing. Also, I need a cooking series that is just Jin and Namjoon attempting to make dinner together. This duo is so chaotic. Summer picked up on one of the most endearing BTS cooking idiosyncrasies- the absolute over-confidence the members are immediately filled with when they make a halfway decent dish. It cracks me up every time they’re cooking and start talking about selling the food or opening a restaurant (usually when they are only a 1/3 of the way through a recipe, too😂).

He’s usually good in the cooking competitions and even when the members are making meals for themselves outside of Run BTS, he helps Suga and Jin a lot. Both him, J-Hope, and Jungkook do. RM and V are the only two that have never really been much help in the kitchen. But they’re also okay with that which is why when the members do cook together, those two are always on the cleanup crew since they don’t help with the cooking. Tae usually washes dishes and Namjoon always gathers up the trash/food waste. They have a system. Jin and Suga are usually the main cooks. J-Hope, Jungkook, and Jimin are like the sous chefs, and RM and V help get them things/cleans up (along with whoever else didn’t cook for that meal). It works well for them.

Abby and gabriel fighting over the dishwasher was literally me and my sister 🤣 Great reaction guys. Cant wait for the next episodes they are hilarious get ready ☺️ PS its been a long time since i watched some episodes so for some i cant remember which team wins at the end so its always such a fun watching again with you guys 💜
