PSA - We know that this might look like we're pitting solo members against each other. So we'll explain our process. On the one hand, we trust that ARMY knows best when it comes to fairness and they'll take into consideration past poll results when they're putting in new submissions or voting on new polls. For instance, if RM hasn't won a poll in a while, i can see ARMY flooding the request channel with RM content, or RM winning a poll by a landslide.
However, we do have a backup plan. If it continues to be one sided, one idea is to implement a rule where if a member wins a poll, for the next poll their content won't be included. Essentially a ONE POLL break. After that they'll be back on and the latest winner will then take a beak, and so on.
Also, we still very much keep track of our spreadsheet that details MEMBER progress that Daniel put together last year. We will also review this periodically and if needed, will adjust the poll submissions to give other members an opportunity.

It’s a lyric song which will never win a poll so there is no point in even placing it in. Also as Jin only has Moon, Epiphany, Awake and The astronaut as official solos with either mv or live performance which you have already reviewed, apart from his OST’s which consist of his duet with V called ‘Even if I die it’s you’ or Jin’s ‘Yours’ which is the one I believe you would love as it is a full orchestral ballad and best watched with the original OST mv clip. He is the only one not released a full album so has no library for his fans to put forward apart from his lyric videos which were originally released on Soundcloud but once officially released soared to the top of the Billiboard global charts but again no mv or actual live performances just clips of him singing parts. Therefore no matter what logistics you use Jin will always fall short because he does not have the volume of mv or live performances to win polls. Yet he has amazing songs he wrote and covers he has sang that are out of this world so because they will never win and you will never hear them through the normal Chanel’s I suggest you listen to them personally. If you do not you have missed out on a musical experience that was noteworthy and heaven itself. His songs he wrote include ‘Abyss’ when he was depressed unusual for our Jin and ‘Tonight’ he wrote for when his pets died are both sad yet beautiful songs. My favourite cover of his is a song called ‘Autumn outside the Post Office’ and also ‘Mom’ which he sang for his mother (get the tissues out) and ‘I love you’. The covers are all early songs of his and I think if he sang them now they would be even more spectacular. I am sad that such an awesome singer and one of the four vocalists will always miss out on these polls. Sorry for the long rant. 💜💜💜💜

Plus, me saying your "save it for bday week" suggestion wasn't very fair isn't "attacking you" like you claimed I did in other comments so I think it might be you who is being dramatic. I'm just trying to point out that Arson shouldn't be a part of any poll, birthday or otherwise, because it's the only title track from Chapter 2 they haven't reacted to and should be on their schedule. Arson shouldn't have to win a vote to get the same prioritization as every other Chapter 2 title track. The polls should be for things like his 2022 MAMA performance or a dance compilation or a collab like Rush Hour. That's not dramatic...that's FAIR.

I understand that content creators have their own families and jobs to attend to, but as a paying customer, I expect the content I subscribed for. To tell me to stop paying because of my criticism is the lamest thing to say. If you are fine with that Good for you. The 3-minute music videos are not too long, and I believe it's time for them to upgrade their way of reacting. It has been a year, and they still react to an MV that is only 3 minutes long, but talk about their personal lives for 15 minutes. While I appreciate getting to know them better, I am paying for their reactions to BTS content, not their personal lives. I suggest they try reacting to the MV and Live at the same time. It's not too much to ask, and that way, we can all enjoy the content we subscribed for in a timely manner.

The difference on their spreadsheet between members are already wide and this will just continue to widen the gap. I was trying to demonstrate that it's not a fair way to make a decision because you could easily make that argument for That That. In fact, the argument is stronger for That That because a feature song from another artist is more birthday week material than a TITLE TRACK. So you completely misunderstood the point of my comment. And it's not about the wait, it's about the principle. We shouldn't have to have a birthday to finally check out the only Chapter 2 title track they haven't seen yet. It's been almost 2 years since it dropped and they still haven't seen it. Cramming it into birthday week and taking out something more fun and obscure that we might not get to see otherwise isn't a good compromise.

If they separate each individual member for each poll, you do realize it would take them 14 months to get through 7 members because they only do these polls every other month? this is the way it has to go. I do wish ccw would use their picks for the members that don’t have enough though. Instead they’re choosing another jk performance which saddens me ngl (not bc it’s bad, that performance IS amazing) when they haven’t seen much of hobis chapter 2 and not enough of Jin. 2024-01-24 04:16:51 +0000 UTCPersonally I think Friends needs more backstory, lyrics, explanations, etc, in order to get the maximum understanding and enjoyment from it. For Arson and Abyss, while both fabulous songs in their own way, I don’t think they had a chance against Friends and That That in this poll. We also have an understanding that you will likely do it some point soon considering your percentage spreadsheet. This being said, That That is both an excellent mv and live performance. We were also given a lot of behind content on this collab and the song, dance, and live performance that hopefully in the future you will be able to watch. Like many have said, it’s hard to choose between the mv and live and I think it may be best to do both in one video. The mv gives you the vibe of the song they were going for, lyrics, and the produced version that is on streaming sites. Plus there is humor and storytelling, and Yoongi looks amazing (like always). The live performance gives energy, crowd singing, psy and Yoongi interactions, Yoongi commanding the stage, excitement, and hype. It turns an amazing and energetic song into something even more special and beautiful. Sorry for the essay and I know you are on a tight filming schedule so I will be happy with anything, but this is what I personally think is the best idea

It won’t take more than 10 minutes to watch both, and this way you can cover more of their content in a quicker way (because as much as I love the MV, the live version is also soooo good! It would be a shame if you waited 6 more months to get to the live version or the mv - in case the live version wins). And since you were just taking about how much BTS content there is, the way I see it would be killing two birds with one stone type of solution don’t you think? I’m telling you, there is just SO MUCH more BTS content to see, you won’t run out of stuff to give to us to watch lol. I’m serious though, I hope you can bring the suggestion to the table please 🙏🏽
