The Future of POLLS (2024 Update)

It feels like this is our 500th post of just this week. So thanks for being patient. We've always said we're very busy behind the scenes and you guys are getting to see a little preview of that 🙂
Last year we had polls alternating every month. We are returning with polls but there will be a few changes. So lets start at the beginning and take a look at our new categories, that now amount to FOUR.

As you'll notice if you were with us last year, they are similar to before but with some minor tweaking, and there is also a new category (Solo/Collab Songs. This new category is a way for us explore some Solo content as we wait to get to the Solo albums. This will be the first poll we will be starting with.
A reminder on how we select the poll options - As we all know, there is way too many options for each of these categories to find a few on our own to put on a Patreon poll. So the best way we found to go about this, is to:
1. Open up a "request channel" on discord for each category. As we're approaching the poll, this channel opens up for 96 hours (4 days).
2. The first 48 hours are for anyone to place a submission. the next 48 hours, everyone goes in and "likes" any submission they wish to be added to the poll.
3. From there, we pull the top 5 "most liked" submissions and place them (in no particular order) on the Patreon Poll for our primos to ultimately decide on the winner.
We will repeat this process for every poll that month. For now we will continue to alternate these polls every other month and see how that works for us this year.
Discord Submissions will go live this afternoon: January 19th 4:00pm CST - January 20th 4:00pm CST is when this channel will be open taking requests. January 20th 4:00pm CST - January 21st 4:00pm CST we will take votes only. Please vote for your favs. Leave a 👍🏼 as your vote, you can vote for multiple videos."

Juli simply helps them by doing what they ASK her to do, and informing them on important things they need to know regarding bts. She runs their discord for them which is a huge task! CCW has said several times that Juli has helped them so much! CCW decides what they watch and the primos help make those decisions too through recommendations and polls, NOT JULI. I've seen nasty comments about her from you and others who don't know anything about her and it's really annoying. If you have nothing nice to say about someone you DON'T know, then be quiet.

She's always looking out for ARMY, not herself. She does a lot behind the scenes and essentially is working 7 days a week. I'll send you a personal DM explaining more her role in everything, and how having her is necessary for us to be able to keep up with everything. But in the end, every decision is ultimately up to us. These recent changes is us listening to many comments and tryin our best to please them, it isn't to one person.

I don’t mind being patient but I’m skeptical that solo content polls will help more than hurt…even with you guys monitoring it to make sure it ends up even, it actually really sucks to watch the same members win the polls over and over again and I think it created poor biased fandom culture. You shouldn’t give us the option…you should just proactively choose to do all seven or none. I really think that leave room for less toxicity and bias.

You’ve already reacted to the stigma and first love live stages (maybe awake too?) and I would bet if you just put the others on the list with the group songs, a ML solo will win, leaving just 3-4 of the wings live songs unwatched. I think you should finish reacting to the Wings solo live stages regardless of what wins the bonus for that album. They’re all phenomenal stages and huge parts of the boys’ careers because, for most of them, it was their first solo stages. Please consider doing a special and reacting to the rest of the stages.

We'll leave it up to Army to try and dictate fairness but if it's leaning too heavily in one direction, then we'll step in to balance it out.

Because if it will just be solo in general I’m afraid we will only be seeing stuff from a few members as they will likely to win and nothing from the rest., same problem we had last year. So I hope there’s a certain category. Like for next month, it’s Hobi’s birthday month, so I hope that poll category to be opened next month is Hobi’s solo, March for Suga etc. I hope that’s what we’re looking at?
