Community Update (This Week's Schedule)

Thank you for your reply. My curiosity has been resolved. It was my misunderstanding. I've watched all of the Bon Voyage series, and you may have mentioned the problem in each video, but I think I was limited in my understanding of what the problem was. This is because it is difficult to understand English perfectly. I was worried and a little uncomfortable about that issue. However, I understand when you explain that there was a reason why you had no choice but to do that. This may be inconvenient, but thank you for making this clear. Your reactions felt sincere, so I went from watching YouTube to Patreon to watch your videos! I can't leave comments often because I'm preparing for a job, but I'd like to visit often and communicate in the future. I look forward to good videos in the future!

Thank you for you reply. I was here at the beginning and remember the issue you had, I just can’t ever remember anyone mention paying for the content, but that could be my memory. I understand the sharing option as I don’t think it’s possible in Weverse, as for if there’s software to do that, you’re much better qualified to judge that than me, as I’m lacking in that area. I just want to say that I do appreciate you all, your content and genuine reactions, and know how hard it can be to juggle family and work, let alone adding this into it. I’m not very active on discord but drop in occasionally, I just don’t feel very comfortable airing any concerns on there. Any comment I’ve made, hasn’t been rude, just a concern I’ve had for a while. yes!! i've had subscriptions to other patreon creators before and NONE were as consistent, organized, and genuine like CCW. i can trust CCW to actually put out content on time every week and if they're taking a break, they actually give a heads up rather than suddenly disappearing.

We pay for all the content. If you followed the beginning of our BV journey, we had a lot of issues. Our screen recording software doesn't let us screen share so we have to watch another version. But we can show you screenshots of our receipts, we pay for everything we watch.

I agree. I looked on Weverse to see how much it is to buy. I bought it when released & it was £15.63 for the series & £15.55 for the Movie package. So around $20, although everything’s bought in ‘Jelly’ now, That’s only 4 Patreon memberships out of the 100-1000+ primos & it’s covered! I’ve always bought their content as the money should go in the guys pockets. If they’ve paid for it, they’ve still contributed to our boys, even though making money from it. They couldn’t put it on YT as it would get taken down because of copyright. The best thing to do would be to demonetise it, but I can’t see that happening. However, it’s still illegal to use it this way, due to the T’s & C’s of Weverse/BigHit etc. I love their content but in a quandary over this issue. All I can do is wait & see if they respond at all xx

I second this!! Its so hard to find genuine reactors these days and CCW is one of the few. The way they get happy, excited, angry, or scared while watching content reflects on how I felt when I started this BTS journey alone. Even them trying to guess the boys with their backs facing the crowd makes me laugh cuz that is something we all experienced. Love their content and I hope they keep doing it.

i love CCW but I will have to agree to this comment. this has been my concern also from the beginning. i just couldn't unsubscribe because I really do enjoy their content and they have been part of my weekly routine. i know they're genuinely good people, you can feel it in their reactions but I really hope they'll hear this one out. :(

um... i'm reading these comments and im in shock. idk why people think it's necessary to preface the fact that they're going to leave (and use the guise of constructive criticism when no one asked them for it) instead of just.... leaving. i can only imagine what it must feel like for you guys to have to read that stuff. i support whatever you guys need to do in order to prevent burnout! the last thing i would want is for you guys to stop creating reactions altogether because you tried to do what other people are telling you is possible in your lives/schedules and churn out a billion reactions. even if you didn't have kids or jobs, the rate which you want to put out reactions is your choice. and you will have people (including me) who will continue to support you because your reactions are authentic and you seem like genuine people! just wanted to put some more positivity in your comments.....

im struggling to see what some ppl dont understand about the fact that they have children, they have jobs, they have families, they go on vacations they are grown adults. ofc they need to take a break for at least a week to get some rest, its holiday season as well. if u wanna unsubscribe because they didnt post every day they are supposed to for only two weeks then go ahead, no need to announce your departure as if anyone cares. also its not like they didnt say that they were taking a break they already said it so whats with the shock?

I'm with the idea that 2 videos for the price is below the expectations. You're already alternating between RUN and TROB weekly and choosing between either deleted and bonus always leaves me the feeling of something unfinished. And with this schedule, I feel as though the content covered is being so stretched that at some point, it's going to get weary. I'm sure we all have a choice and for the most part now, we enjoy watching you as people who genuinely loves BTS. But coming from the POV of an audience, at the rate this is going, boredom will set in. We hope to not come to that point at all. BTS has so much content.. from the looks of what people are asking you to react to, especially to the live concerts, maybe more behind the scenes like Bangtan Bombs, their interviews etc.. there's still so much for you to see..

I agree with this. Pay for the content that you're reacting so that the rightful ownership is given to the owners for every single BTS paid content. Part of the reason I stopped being a Patron to one of the reactors is when he used mostly illegal site or fan uploads to react to BTS content almost every video. I felt that was just ethically wrong.

I think this may be the wrong take on this. Most of this 'exclusive' content is free to watch anywhere else. All we did was suggest they watch it but it was their decision to do it along with only having one day to record. There's not really much exclusivity compared to Youtube which is free. Charging extra for a 'specialty' video is not what's happening here. They're not providing additional content or expertise. They are just reacting

Actually, I've mentioned this before, but I hope you guys consume BTS' paid content as paid content. HYBE does not allow it to be uploaded to YouTube for free. This is because I found out that the reaction video in the Bon Voyage reaction video the other day was a YouTube video uploaded by a fan. Posting things like Bon Voyage on YouTube was shared by fans, not approved by the company. Copyright belongs to the company and BTS. We pay to watch reactions to paid videos, but You guys are watching paid content for free, reacting to it, and uploading it as paid content. Your reaction is good, but that part is the same as consuming illegal content. It is a problem even if you guys watch illegal content alone, but even while consuming illegal content, you guys are making money through paid content. If it is paid content, I would like you guys to react while officially consuming the paid content. I hope you guys don't react to videos that have been uploaded illegally to YouTube. It's just my little wish.

I love run bts and it been a year and you're not even that far. Patrons getting boring so I'm canceling for now. YouTube lose Thursday, I don't think your subscribers gonna be happy. @Koobi I've also been here for a long time, so I'm glad you love CCW's stuff too. Tbh, I disagree with you about their long intros/outros. It's almost like breaks for them in between recording tbh, bc you can't just react/watch nonstop without getting burnt out. They have to take a break in between. They could've turned off the camera and had all those chats off camera, then just record a shorter video. But I think it's cool that we get to hang out with them during their "break time" too.

I also work so I don't have a problem. But to be honest, I feel like their pricing is more about exclusivity than quantity. BV/Run/docuseries are highly demanded, so I think they're charging for the "specialty", which makes sense. Not the quantity. So it's just up to individual primos if they think it's worth it for them.

After they finish avatar (which I also love tbh lol), they're likely going to start another non-bts related series. And that's totally up to them. If they start a new series I'm not into, sure that's a bummer bc then Fridays will be an empty day for me. But it's up to me if I still think it's worth subscribing– and I personally do lol Just like how BTS value army's opinion deeply, but they won't always agree with our constructive feedback. It's up to BTS to do what they want at the end of the day.

Exactly!! I don’t even have a job right now but I’m still paying and have been paying from the start but right now I can feel how it’s hard for some people to pay because they don’t feel that they’re getting enough content. I have been a Patron for other reactors and they definitely put more videos for the same price. This does not mean that I’m asking CCW to go out of their comfort zone to record more videos cuz I understand that they have other jobs and their families but I believe that the price can be reduced for the amount of content we get. I don’t think people will complain about the lack of content if they feel that they’re getting the worth of their money.

Absolutely agree! 💯. Surely this time could instead be used to record more BTS content. They should definitely increase content and if time is the issue, reduce the price tiers. It is simple and not complicated as others seem to think. I do hope they take these feedback into account and not just ignore them. Listening to constructive feedback from your subscribers goes a long way!

Your opinion is valid. Canadian supporters are paying almost 7 dollars for patreon. I don't think creators should be charging over 10 bucks for reaction videos. I think it's more so ccw barely has enough time to maintain a 5-dollar tier, and a lot of their supporters come from other reactors and know what other 5-dollar tiers looked like. I think they're trying to do too much for the time they have, like Avatar being started in the midst of people requesting bts content, now it's on patreon and the majority of supporters don't watch it but we're paying for it. Another thing would be the podcast Gabriel questioned about, but they don't have time for it according to them.

Tbh I'm tired of trob, it's taken so long, I figured it would have been wrapped up at some point last year, but now we're in 2024 and still on that.. then we don't even know which one we'll get it's bonus OR deleted due to time restrictions. Another thing is when the requests open on discord we usually request videos under 20 minutes because of time. Idk how a podcast can be done if there's no time. Love CCW but these are valid concerns.

I agree. Given this new schedule, we basically have 4 days off (including Avatar for me since I don't watch it and I'm basically here for BTS-content). I appreciate CCW and no hate to them (I would not pay monthly if I do) but they might need to reassess this arrangement. Patreon basically have 2 videos weekly for $5, not a great deal compared to others, to be honest. Practically, it would be better to wait for a few months before resubscribing in Patreon again than pay $5 for 2 videos weekly. Again, no hate, just need to get this out since I appreciate CCW and I know their one of the most genuine BTS reactors our there

This subject has been discussed before on YouTube...the amount of reactions for subscribers...they promised that there would be more videos and more similar content among the BTS members...but we are back to the same problems...we are paying for little content and watching practically the same amount of YouTube videos... @Koobi thanks for being with us for a year. We keep intros and outros cause we feel it important to have genuine discussions about what we're watching. yes we go off on tangents, but normally especially during outros we talk about what we watched. We know some people press record and immediately press play on the content, and when it's over they're just done. This isn't our style. We could get through more videos that way but there would be little to no discussion from us. As far as taking time off, we record everything in one sitting, sometimes till midnight (with school and work the next day). So not having a Thursday video every week does make the Album reviews possible. Some of the reviews will last 70-90 minutes. So freeing up even 205 minutes goes a long way when we still have an hour Bon Voyage, TROB, Bonus vid, ATLA to film plus anything extra all while the kids are in the living room with the sitter 🙂. It's a lot of work and it physically takes a toll. In the end we felt it was important to do Album Reviews while also not risking a burn out. This is our attempt at a compromise. Trust me, we wish we can get to more even faster, we have so much to catch up on. So it definitely isn't an excuse to do less for the sake of doing less.

CCW has been working hard since they opened their Patreon. They literally record until midnight at times and they have their own jobs and lives. There’s no need to make passive comments like these just because they took a day off. You can always cancel your membership instead.

For us getting Thursday taken away even if it’s for YouTube I really hope these album reviews is worth it with atleast some live performances etc that go with some of the iconic songs. I think it’s best for the tiers to be combined or atleast pay less. At the end of the day there is no more benefits for patreons.

The thing that makes me more excited about you guys finally giving more attention to album reviews is the hope that you will get to watch what BTS enjoys doing the most and have always talked about it, the reason why they still are a group as they say over and over, which is LIVE CONCERTS. Just some advice for album reactions. If you are going to upload them on Youtube make sure you do it in parts with no more than 3 songs per video. You are less likely to get a copyright strike that way 💜

I've heard Daniel mention checking doolset on his own time, so they know about it! And I think they may have mentioned liking seeing the lyrics play as the song goes, which is why they use those (often wonky 😅) lyric videos! I’m so excited for the album reviews!!!! ☺️ Just a small suggestion (and maybe this is how you’ve been doing them so if so, disregard my comment lol), but there’s an amazing army made website with translations for all songs called “doolset Bangtan.” The translations on those lyric videos on YouTube are never really that accurate, plus the doolset Bangtan page has slang and explains cultural references that can be lost in translation. It’s a really awesome resource! You could have the doolset page pulled up while the song is playing from another source! Just a suggestion! I’m really excited for the album reviews so thank you! 💜
