army´s plan a heard, they see when BTS is rumored to have an appearance on jimmy fallon and then take the chance and buy. others camp out for hours to get lucky to get in. i saw it on twitter for when jimin and suga was there. and army didn´t know jimin would appear they just guessed it since fallon is the biggest BTS supporter in US among the hosts. so they timed it right.

Love this! You can see how much you love our guys by how big your smiles are, how much you laugh and how genuinely you react to our precious 7! I really appreciate that. My thoughts on the clip of Idol. I wish the show would have translated or even looked up the lyrics. When (Singing in Korean) came up instead of a translation, it felt a tad disrespectful. It wouldn’t have been hard to look the lyrics up online, to make it a better viewing experience for everyone. It was disappointing but otherwise a great appearance with Jimmy.

I actually could watch all the late night interveiws the same night on youtube..they are on the same day or night all their interveiws on all late night shows. They may get blocked after awhile but it's always funner to watch them with you guys.

If I would rank their talk show appearances, it would be Fallon, Colbert, Corden (I did enjoy the crosswalk concert), Graham Norton, and last would be Kimmel and Ellen. The interview with Ellen was cringe, but the segments with fans were entertaining. Meanwhile, Kimmel made jokes at the expense of BTS and Army (the usual “crazy” fandom schtick). 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am a California girl, and by coincidence I traveled to New York back in March for a whole week. I was asleep in the hotel, when my best friend woke me up in the middle of the night saying, "Jimin is coming to New York". Me joking and being delusional I said, "What if we run into him". Our trip continued and we went to the NBC shop because my best friend wanted merch to take home and I saw a line. Therefore, I approached a worker and asked them, "What is this line for". She then said to me, "It's standby for Jimmy Fallon". Later on, I begin to see rumors that Jimin was going to be filming the next day, and I told my best friend we have to come stand in this line. We got up at 6am and went and stood in that line at 7am, when we got there, there was already a huge line!!! We stood there until around 10ish where they gave us a numbered card to comeback at 3pm to see if we were going to be able to get in. (Again zero clue if it was actually going to be Jimin there). I was number 40 and my best friend was 41. I was so scared, because I did not think we would make it inside. We came back at 3pm hopeful, and by luck they let 60 of us army in. Again we tried asking if Jimin was there and they said, they couldn't say. However, they then blasted "Filter" on the speakers and we all screamed that was the confirmation we needed. Anyways, we went in Jimmy filmed sketches for a different episode and then finally Jimin came out. He was so close!! The studio is so small, we all began to scream and cry lol. Jimin is so tiny and beautiful and a literal ray of sunshine. It was so cute, because Jimin said to Jimmy, "I'm sorry I don't speak English". And Jimmy was like "It's okay buddy we're family I understand". Jimin was just so beautiful and glowy and smiley and giggling so much. He had a translator sitting next to him, but he did so so well. You guys are right, the quiet signs did nothing, because Jimmy placed Jimin's album on his desk, right before he was going to introduce Jimin and we all started screaming. Lol!! He kept laughing trying to introduce Jimin because everyone was screaming, and I remember the audience that were there for Jimmy Fallon would turn back to look at us LOL. To this day that will forever be my favorite memory of New York. The luck and coincidence, I will forever cherish.

I would totally be down for you guys to just watch all the late night interviews and games and stuff if you want lol I enjoy them. The one that is near and dear to my heart is the hide and seek on james corden because it was actually one of the biggest reasons I became an army in the first place. There was a lot of little things but I attribute that video to my awakening lmao. Also, usually, when they do these late night shows, there will be army on twitter who will give us little behind the scenes details of what went on during the breaks and stuff.

j-hope is a dance prodigy. Don't forget he won a National Championship before he ever joined BTS. He doesn't get to show off the depth of his skills in a lot of BTS content (even Tae lamented that once--that it's a shame Hobi never gets to show off for real). And when he does solo performances, he opts to create engaging, interactive experiences for the audiences rather than dance recitals they just watch. It's part of what makes him a show stealer but again, you don't really get to see him spread his wings with dance there either. You get to see more of his animations and isolations and popping and waving in his live "Hope On The Street" streams so I definitely recommend a good compilation of that and we are all SO SO EXCITED to see what he does with his new dance documentary coming out in 2024 (also called "Hope On the Street," where he traveled the world and danced with the best of the best). But yeah, there's a reason BTS repeated calls him the best dancer. You haven't seen a fraction of what that man can do with his body.

Please Do WATCH Every Interview they have ever done. And any guest shots on any shows worldwide. All...I repeat...ALL of their I terriers and appearances are so fun and entertaining. They each show their individual personality and shine. And do provide an allotted time if they perform on the show too. Then there is also...some...Behind the Scenes. So. You might consider making your Wednesday's BTS Interview Day. Just so you know. During the pandemic...Jimmy had BTS week. They were on Every Night. Of course. All filmed in Korea. But so good. So thank you. Thank you. We're so glad you loved the Interview. Comment. Since you've been inside the studio you know how very small it is. It takes quite a talent to change your spacing next to a person when it is burned into their brain and body memory to be spread out across a huge arena style stage. They only get to practice it a few times in that small pace. So you must know the concentration it takes to dance in your small place for this performance. As you Know...they are professional dancers. When I first saw them on the Jimmy Fallon show on February 24, 2020 dancing at Grand Central Station I was overwhelmed with their talent and perfect in sync choreography. I got on YouTube that night...Every day and night since then...and it took me 6 months of watching before I Every saw them make a single choreography mistake. It rarely happens. For your further watching the night they performed in Grand Central Station concluded a week's filming with Jimmy Fallon again. They filmed on the subway. They filmed inside a famous deli place. And more. Concluding with meeting at 3 a.m. at Grand Central Station to film "On". Debuting it for the first time from their "7" album. They worked so hard to perfect their performance because it was also the start of their huge World Tour. Look at the date again. February 24, 2020. What happened on that date and soon after? They received The Worst news they have ever Received. Covid had hit! And their huge World Tour was actually not canceled. But put on hold. Delayed!!! That devastated them. No one knew how bad Covid would get. They tried to reschedule the tour, but that got permanently cancelled. The world had shut down. No one was going anywhere!!! They never performed "On" for a Live Audience. They vowed that if they ever got to perform again, they would open with "On" I'll let CCW do their research. Because Army knows when they finally were able to perform again. Not a World Tour. But they finally got to perform a few times again before Army. Thanks again for this interview. We all Loved your reaction. As if you were there...experiencing it!! Happy New Year's. Maybe in 2025 or 2026 you can see them perform in person. What a great Dream true that would be!!!

Out of all the show hosts, Jimmy is my favorite because of how he treats the guys. And most times that bts or members are on Fallon, Army have some inkling because they will see when bts will be in NYC (due to concerts or confirmed appearances) and just take a chance lol.

Some of the pattern on the suits they are wearing is part of African cultural clothing called Ankara which is from Ghanaian culture. I'm not sure if it's all the suits but some of them. I think they chose this on purpose because of the African influence in the song Idol (the beat of the song comes from the South African genre called Gqom as well as some of the dance moves. The one they taught Jimmy is actually called the gwara gwara which it also comes from South Africa. That's why as South African ARMYs, Idol is our national anthem 😂🇿🇦)

im always so impressed on how they performed IDOL on such a small stage. also another thing that was pointed out to me recently was that before Jimin does the roundhouse type kick in the last chorus of IDOL (in this performance and every other IDOL performance I've seen), he always looks to his right and makes sure that V isn't too close and won't accidentally get kicked! my VMIN heart <3

bts actually got that magnetic pull to people bc the explosive rise of them from a few appearances in western shows still blows my mind. Most artist would trend and die down eventually but they didnt. I think the music, performance and bts sincerity 'spoke' to curious concert goers on what they want to convey despite the language barrier. The strong bond between the fan and artist is such a phenomenon that im still in awe since 2016. they do really love their job so so much it shows.
