What I really love about this skit is it took the age old “they’re Koreans who can’t understand the English so they just go with it” gag and reversed it. So they’re talking smack in Korean and James is all “yeah yeah totally you get it” pretending to understand. It just kinda felt like a breath of fresh air them not being the butt of the joke for once.

When I first learned about them I went through a bunch of their interviews at music award shows and talk shows and pretty quickly learned their characters and humor before I even got really deep into the music. You should definitely check out more. There is a lot of funny interview content of them on Youtube. There are some games they played with Jimmy Fallon that you still haven’t seen besides the subway one. They’re all pretty short too so you could even combine them into one video.

2023-11-18 17:40:00 +0000 UTCThis was made when they were in LA. For their 4 night concert in 2021. I can't believe you never heard of them they were on every talk show at that time. And James does this crosswalk all the time. You could see all the people lined up to see it. It's common for his show. The karaoke cab was made at a different time.

But they are comedy sketches Some good ones. Frozen. Aladin. Lion King. Sound of Music. Have fun. They are lots of laughs. Just so you know. There is a Behind the Scenes of this for BTS. And you did see a very edited version.

2023-11-18 16:26:24 +0000 UTCThis is hilarious performance, it was a regular section on James Corden Show he used to invite other artist like Hugh Jackman, Harry Styles, etc. On BTS Bomb there is a behind the scenes with BTS and is also so funny. Guys do you realize that a lot of people also need to read subtitles with you, and all english content that's why we have years of training to catch video and read at the same time.
