2024-04-11 14:28:58 +0000 UTCYou just learned about a very popular Korean summer dessert called Bingsoo. shaved ice milk (originally ice, but Koreans "evolved" it and used milk instead, which makes the texture so much softer) and then topped with red beans, but not the kind you find at an American grocery store. iRed beans are very sweet, so Korean make porridge out of them too, like traditional Korean dishes. Anyway, top red beans with fruits or mochi or roasted bean powder soooo good. I hope you get try to it as long as you're not allergic to beans! suprrisingly reallly good :)

2023-10-11 12:19:59 +0000 UTCRed beans are commonly used for desserts in Asia. It is sweet. We use it in a dessert called halo-halo (mix mix) in the Philippines. May seem weird in the beginning but you should definitely try 😁

2023-10-10 04:15:21 +0000 UTCIn Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan etc. there are a lot of desserts(e.g. khao lam, red bean sesam balls, nam wan (tua dum), mochi, taiyaki, forayaki, che ba mau....) with red beans. Those desserts are really really good.

2023-10-09 13:32:49 +0000 UTCRed beans in shaved iced desserts isn’t that bad (these are sweetened red beans that create a chewy texture) but I don’t prefer them in my homemade Halo-Halo (Filipino Shaved Iced Dessert). I love it with whole milk mixed with Ube jam, Nata de Coco, Buko Pandan, Sago, Jackfruit, Coconut meat, strawberries - topped with Leche flan, Ube ice cream, and pinipig - delicious!

2023-10-09 09:42:37 +0000 UTCYups, beans in dessert and confectionery and other snacks are very common for Asian cuisine. Red, green, etc. They are not the same as the ones you know there. Shaved ice as well is a common and loved dessert, though it comes in different form in different countries around Asia. In Korea, it's called bingsu. 😁

2023-10-08 04:10:01 +0000 UTCit's really funny because every video i've watched where red bean desserts are mentioned, people from countries where red bean is primarily a savory ingredient will find it very weird and discombobulating. But red beans are rarely (if at all) used as a savory ingredient in asian cuisine -- i wonder if any countries uses it for both?? and yes! they're called azuki beans -- side note: pls react to BTS's Anpanman (I don't think y'all have yet?) -- it's about a red bean dessert bread :)

Mind you, I've never had a Korean red bean so I don't know if they're sweet or if they savory like our red beans, but that's how I was able to make sense of the whole bean dessert thing which is all over BTS content. haha

In fact, I was thinking you could replace "Mail Mondays" with an episode of you guys doing something that BTS does on their Run BTS shows. First one could be Mario Kart and then the next one could be whatever they do in the next episode. I guess it depends on the activity, but it could give you guys something cool to do (maybe even OUTSIDE the studio)...maybe it could be a once a month type thing. It definitely would be a welcome addition to your channel to see y'all do activities around town. Y'all have talked about doing these things in the past, like going to an arcade, etc. Please think about it.

They are small reddish beans with a sweet and nut-like flavor. Red bean paste is a common filling for dessert breads, too. It’s sweet but not overpoweringly so.

2023-10-07 14:53:31 +0000 UTCThe dessert it’s like our minuta, it’s shaved ice made of condensed milk usually with fruit and syrup and Mochi. But the do eat a lot of red bean and it’s sweet in their desserts. But you can choose one with out it if you guys want to try it.

It’s simple-just them playing PC games in a room- but you can tell how comfortable they are with each other and that they truly enjoy just spending time together. It’s nice to see them taking a break to act like “normal” boys their age too. Also, the substantial increase in chaotic energy as the episode progresses always cracks me up. From what I understand, at this time, Jungkook and V, were the primary broad-range PC gamers while Jin was more involved in console gaming or only very specific PC games. A fun note- V, on a live a couple days ago talked about wanting to play League of Legends with Army but that we would need to get our ranks up to be able to compete with him 😆.

And they were photographed in many places at the White House. And they were dressed so appropriately and very handsome. But again, their speech and message being The Most Important thing!
