I agree. And thank you for providing a mature example of how to disagree while effectively arguing your own opinion sighting persuasive details instead of insults and drama. I usually don't comment on internet drama (cuz I can't type that many WPM), but I was shocked at the amount of likes the posts got, so I was more commenting on the reaction (or lack thereof), of the bystanders.

You're not "built different", you're actually normal. I can only hope the people leaving those comments are teenagers or younger because it's terrifying to think that these are "adults" who live among us and vote and carry out daily responsibilities while having the emotional intelligence of a child. It truly is embarrassing to see people like this thinking they are a good representation of being a fan of BTS. Those who are super against JKs direction of music don't make sense to me either. You would think they were about to react to WAP the way people are acting. The lyrics HE sings are pretty tame with clever innuendos you wont even understand if youre not an adult without being trashy, similar to the 2000s pop music. I love the nostalgic feel of it. Whatever Jack Harlow says doesn't matter to me much either cuz that's his art and he's following his own style (even if I don't like his music much). I much prefer that than Snoop Doggs verse(toned down for BTS) that sounded like some nursery rhyme lol

My goodness, spent the last few days travelling to Seoul and doing some tourist things and have come online here to see these terrible comments. What an earth is happening! Just because you don’t like or appreciate Jack’s rap does not mean you dislike Jungkooks worth or direction of music, you just dislike that particular element. Everyone has a BTS song that they favour more than others, a member whose music appeals more than the other members it does not mean we think less of the others, it’s a matter of choice and taste. This is CCW’s channel and they have the right to run it how they choose in line with their ethical and moral values, many of us are patreons of theirs because we align with their views. They should not have to compromise their beliefs to accomodate anyone’s views just as they will not expect you to change your viewpoint. So please do the courteous thing and accept the channel for what it is, it is not a criticism of Jungkook or of any of the members if their songs are not suitable. Jungkook has been sensitive enough to realise that his direction would not be the choice of many and has done alternative versions for that reason so if he understands peoples preferences I am not sure why you can not. 💜💜💜💜

I don't know how people can be so mean and rude to others that are part of the same group. Those calling names and telling people to shut up for sharing an opinion in quite a tame way, even if you disagree with the opinion itself, are so weird to me. I like hearing opinions that differ from mine and it scares me that people these days not only don't want to hear differing opinions, but actually become disproportionately irate and belligerent if they hear an opinion they don't like. I am embarrassed for some of you as it shows a lack of coping skills and self control. I am an elementary school teacher, so I speak from experience. Even if someone stated their opinion in an offensive way, I couldn't imagine bursting a blood vessel over a random person's opinion on the internet. Maybe I'm just built different, or maybe my life experiences have taught me not to sweat the small stuff. All the capital letters, exclamation marks, name calling, and insinuating stuff about someone just to be vindictive...like what would your boy/s who you are so vehemently defending think of you acting like that? Do you think they would be impressed? Thankful? I think they'd cringe that some of you are falling into the trope of the rabid, intolerant stan that they fight to defend ARMY against. Like, picture JK looking over your shoulder while you scream at someone on the internet and wish them to be banned, and imply that they are a sexual predator for.....not liking pants? How is no one calling these people out? I really felt embarrassed reading all that piling on.

I feel like you should still consider releasing the reaction to the MV and live performance. Jungkook worked hard for those. Because even if you didn't like Jack Harlows part or found it inappropriate, you should still be able to say it. The lyrics aren’t misogynistic in my opinion. Jack is able to be freely sexual if he wants as society tries to advocate for women to be freely sexual too. Men are allowed to do so as well. So the one girl, two girl part is not mysognistic. The only part that might he deemed that way is how the director made the decision to have all the women in the same colored shirt and swapped out as if they’re nothing but items. However that is the MV and does not affect the song whatsoever. I can see why people didn’t like that part. Saying the lyrics are degrading is weird to me.

I'm glad you were able to check out the different content JK put out. Releasing reaction for Alternate and DP is what I expected.. actually, I just expected DP, so I'm doubly happy about it. I know JK's direction is not for everyone and that's okay. Looks like he also knows it because he releases Alternate versions and Clean versions. Sara, I also love 3D and have zero problem with the music video. But I think you’re crossing a line and being incredibly disrespectful here. Yes, I’m ARMY and stan BTS first. But we’re advocating for Jungkook saying he is grown and has the right to choose to do whatever style of music he wants, dress however he wants, get tattoos and piercing and live his life as he pleases and rightfully so. But, in the same conversation we’re telling other grown folks how they should run their channels and that’s hypocritical. They aren’t ignoring JK. He’s one of their biases! Jungkook has stated in an interview with Dispatch that “3D” is a love song. He’d never have approved of Jack’s feature if his verses were misogynistic (but they can’t help it if people interpret them that way). The part with the lineup of women in the MV visually represents the old Jack. He USED to be a player/man wh*re. However, he’s now in a new era or “new story” with the girl he’s seeing long-distance. If she’ll let him, he’s ready to be more serious. Period.

You really took all that time to write a defense of Jack Harlow's totally degrading verse. Look, I appreciate your attempt to gloss over some very clear examples of objectification with a few lines that read "romantic" but missing some pretty critical points. If you can listen to the song and ignore it, good for you but it is problematic in several places and it made A LOT of women in the fandom (real ARMYs who continue to support Jungkook and respect his right to make his own choices in this solo journey unconditionally) uncomfortable and upset with good reason. JK: "If you're ready, and if you'll let me" 😍 Jack: "And you ain’t gotta guarantee me nothing I just wanna see if I get lucky I just wanna meet you in the physical and see if you would touch me" I found that last bar from Jack so romantic and vulnerable, since he went during the whole song from "I used to" which takes a lot of courage to confess that horny past, to call out himself, and then he follows to "Now", having a new story each time he holds a hand instead of multiple at the same time. For me the song is coherent, cheasy and reliable... sang in an urban way since its a pop rap song... It wouldn't be authentic if they didn't deliver it that way because how do you think people from the hiphop field talk.

This is not an okay comparison. Curse words are not the same thing as explicit (degrading) sexual content. The rapline have never put out a song where they're bragging about "whoring." It's really gross to compare what Jack Harlow did on his verses to what our rap line do.

Nothing wrong with singing curse words or singing about sex but aside from a couple stray lines from very early years, our rap line has never done what Jack Harlow did so the comparison here is way out of line.

People are so much misunderstanding Jack Harlow's lyrics, or even JK's parts, there are not even hardcore curse words... The song is so reliable for the people meeting or falling in love online which happens a lot since social medias... And there is nothing wrong to talk about sex, experts even say its healthy... Jungkook spent all his teenage chasing his dreams to become a dancer and a singer, and because the industry made it hard for them, he had to work way harder than anyone.. He didn't have the time to fully explore that side of him.. And even now he just have some months to explore those feelings which is normal for a young man and then he will again give 18 months of his life serving in the military without having the freedom to do what he want. 3D is a song about long-distance relationships. Jungkook and Jack Harlow explain how they miss the reality dimension: they interact with this girl mainly on a screen, in two dimensions, and they obviously want it more real. 3D refers to the dimension they would have if they actually met. A collaboration that spans from the USA to South Korea is the perfect excuse to talk about long-distance for the two artists. Jack Harlow makes it explicit at the end of 3D lyrics, when he says he would gladly invite his girl from South Korea to Kentucky, his birthplace in the United States, just to see what happens. In his verse, Jack Harlow joins in and adds his perspective. He references Jung Kook's style and fame, suggesting that he's taken inspiration from him in his own romantic pursuits. He describes a past of dating multiple people and how his current feelings for this person have changed his approach to relationships. The detailed aspects of a long-distance relationship are explained in many parts of the lyrics: 3D talks about interacting through a phone, playing on camera, flirting, and stimulating each other. This obviously feeds the desire, and that’s what Jungkook and Jack Harlow express in the song. They wish they could have the third dimension, make it real, and see how it would feel. Overall, "3D" is a song that revolves around desire, anticipation, and the longing for a more intimate and physical connection with someone who is physically distant. The artists use playful and suggestive language to convey their feelings and intentions, and both artists mentionned mutual consent which is very important. Its really sad that you're not showing your reaction to the MV because that doesnt make any difference with the lyrics... And you can expect more explicit contents from all the members in the future since they're entering the adult era... And it has a lot of votes! 🥺 But then I realized, they haven’t heard any songs from the album yet so even though I want Hobi content, I don’t think they should watch that yet as it contains spoilers and it wouldn’t make sense. 😢☹️

Reactors always cut parts whether it's due too copyright or if what they are watching has explicit nature, so we are used to watching reactions that cut out parts of videos. I think for your channel it would be better to do that and also that way it has less people angry and upset. And also BTS have always used explicit language and you have managed to beep out those parts so I really don't see the difference, I would of understood a bit better if the visuals were explicit. We treat every video exactly the same. We blur words in HOD, in SUGA's concert, personality videos, MVs, it's all the same. And that's cause it has nothing to do with the video we're watching, but the rules we've placed for ourselves on social media. Hope you understand.

We considered all options including this. People weren’t very pleased when we cut certain parts of 7, said it was disrespectful to Latto. We of course were never going to ignore the 3D MV. I'll be disappointed if they doesn't react To 3D MV, this is JK's artistic choice, and I love the whole message of the song, even Jack's verses are great since he praise JK, confess his past, call out the bad guys and also mentionned the mutual consent... You have to look at the whole context without isolating parts of the song... Its really enjoyable.

It's also tough because I'd love to recommend some more interviews or behind-the-scenes stuff of him when it's appropriate. But since they haven't checked out JITB, it doesn't make sense to add it to the suggestions on the Discord votes. Like, I'd love his Palette episode, of the behind the scenes of his listening party, or his short interview with Zico. But that's all slightly weird when you haven't heard any of his album. Just a wee warning. The 3D MV has gotten a lot of backlash because of Jack Harlow's lyrics. Knowing you like to keep your channel somewhat family friendly you may want to go with the Dance Practice video instead. It's superb & the song's a good, catchy song if you like classic American pop radio. It's really only Jack's lyrics in the full song that offended a lot of people. The alternate version is also more family friendly.

The double standard is apparent because CCW reacts to “House of the Dragon” which is rated “TV-MA, and Common Sense Media, an independent website to help parents navigate the media landscape more precisely, suggests it's appropriate for viewers 17 and older, citing ‘violence and scariness,’ ‘sex and nudity,’ and ‘language.’” In addition, no one raised the alarm when CCW reacted to Agust D’s trilogy including “Haegum” and “Amygdala”, which contain mature content (e.g., violence, self-harm, etc.). None of these would be considered family-friendly content. And let me remind everyone what occurred with “Seven”. They couldn’t relax or give the MV a fair reaction because they’d already had a negative impression going in due to some Primos warning them beforehand. Yes, it is the opposite view. They are their peers/juniors, I am the audience. I'm not a Kpop fan nor am I Kpop's audience. I am a fan of BTS. They are in a position where people in Kpop look up to them in terms of their own career, so they mentor in a way. You putting the two together to determine selfish and selfless is concerning because neither have to do with each other. Also, BTS has no competition in Kpop, so why even bring that up? The only thing I said was that I was not interested in watching non-BTS guests episodes again. You're doing the most. If you are a multi who enjoy other groups, that's fine. I think Ego is coming up. (Hopefully). But I agree. Hobi is so under-represented on their channel. Because they started after his Chapter 2 drop, he's the only member whose Ch. 2 projects they haven't checked out all. I was hoping they'd go back and catch up but apparently not. Even for his b-day they did two songs with big features and a maknae line focused Hobi compilation. Like I get they have a lot on their plate but I wish their moderator would slip in a couple more Hobi projects to even it out a little.
