2023-09-16 13:54:18 +0000 UTCThis episode is so good, and it's crazy how it tackles such mature topics.. tbh, I think it holds a mirror to society in general. Trying to ignore what's going on beyond one's walls and pretend everything is fine, despite obvious internal issues (ex: ba sing se's economic segregation of sorts). Meanwhile touting that they're the most exceptional, unshakeable territory.... very metaphorical stuff lol. The city itself is such an intriguing setting. Some of best episodes happen here imo!

2023-09-15 17:30:58 +0000 UTCtotal get out vibes lol. i definitely did not understand the underlying politics growing up, but thatβs what makes this βkidsβ show great to watch as an adult. i feel like the animation and storyboarding also gets better in this ep; i always get chills with the cuts between jetβs brainwashing and long fengβs monologue lol. thanks for another fun reaction! i love the time they spend in ba sing se so looking forward to the next :D
