2023-09-02 07:58:44 +0000 UTCWhen they named their baby Hope... resisting the urge to say "I'm you're hope, you're my hope, I'm J-Hope" π It's also so interesting how much of this show is dependent on the time period! In modern times, TV/social media would make it so EVERYONE knew EXACTLY what the Avatar gang or Zuko looked like! But since it's set in olden times, paintings and word of mouth are all that people can really go off of. And I guess it made going "under cover" possible. I am PUMPED for Ba Sing Se! The next episode is probs in my top 5 episodes of the whole series! The creators themselves said it's a favorite too. I cannot wait to hear you guys' thoughts... you'll have much to discuss!!

2023-09-02 02:33:46 +0000 UTCas to why toph didnβt create a path for them on the serpentβs pass - i imagine itβs because she canβt feel the vibrations of the earth when itβs under the water? she was only able to make that small platform from the ground she felt in the bubble of air they were in. i also notice you guys often ask βwouldnβt they recognize __?β for aang, appa, zuko lol i love how you wonder deeply about everything down to the mechanisms; it makes me question and consider new things too! maybe thinking of how big the whole world is would put it in perspective. wanted posters of their faces canβt be everywhere so itβs just word of mouth for a lot of people, and a lot donβt know that arrow tattoos are from the air nomads, especially if they donβt have history education. i also imagine a lot donβt know appa is the only air bison, like they would know that the avatar HAS to be the only airbender. (someone, feel free to correct me.) anyway, the drill episode is so fun; the gang really shows their teamwork, skills, and the crazy damage they can accomplish together by themselves. everything is just ramping up!! thanks for the double reaction - made my morning! 2023-09-01 16:37:22 +0000 UTCWow! I wondered why we got 1h video but it turned out to be 2 episodes session! I loved it! No cliffhanger lol. But I won't get used to it in case you will not spoil us anymore. I'm re-watching the series for I-don't-know-which-time with you and this time around I'm focusing more on fighting styles, clever ways to use bending and stuff like that 'cause it's something you guys enjoy and point out a lot. And I noticed it's a biiiig part of why the show is so good in the eyes of many fans. The fighting scenes are so clever, well-animated, always new, never boring. You know how in some shows you get the same animation many times or the same sygnature move repeated? This show is a lot more creative and the creators are really spoiling us in that aspect lol. And every character has its own unique way to shine. As to not spoil I'll only say everyone is getting better as the time passes, can't wait till you get into season 3... There is much to come yet! Happy Friday with the cousins! PS I miss Appa :c
