There actually is a follow-up series...spinoff...called Airbender, Legend of Katara. It is the kids of these characters with older versions of these original characters in it. It's a good watch too.

Sorry, I can't mention what it was he gave up on, it's a spoiler. Youβre right though, Iroh is kinda over the war

Flying bison are the og Airbenders since they can fly with no wings, momo can fly but he has wings. We learned last season finale that the moon is the og waterbender since it can push and pull the tides. And yes dragons are the og firebenders and that's all I'll let you know without giving you spoilers for next season.
