Remember Sam? I might have shared quite a few designs with you by now, but here's his final form!
Some of you might think he looks even more familiar now. Maybe you remember an old character of mine, Mr. Hall.
I'm actually combining Sam and Mr. Hall into one character in order to create the ultimate Sam Howler.
This has proved to work very nicely on No North's latest draft, which I just finished on Sunday. I'll still run a few rewrites, so bare with me, but the story is taking a shape I can finally say I'm starting to feel happy with. Yes, it took me 2 years to feel that way about something I wrote, but it's finally beginning to happen - and I can't wait to share it with you!
