BIG Community Update (This Week's Schedule)

We have our new weekly schedule. But before we hop in, we've always said we'll do our best to be transparent. So there's a few things we would like to address regarding our plans moving forward.
As we have said before, we do read comments and we try our best to accommodate as best we can. We take all feedback, negative and positive, and try to grow from it. However, there are dozens of differing opinions we take into consideration, as well as what we're able to physically make work. So it's no easy task 😅. Although we do truly believe, that having some sort of a schedule helps us get through as much as possible.
I've highlighted a few of the key items below.
Polls vs CCW Picks - This has gone back and forth for a while now in the comments. We love hearing from our Patrons what we should watch and want to keep everyone engaged. Especially since in the end, we don't know what we don't know. But at the same time, some people prefer we watch things a bit more organically and progress through content that way. So as we mentioned before, we are going to try out alternating months and see how that works, starting with this month!
Time Management - As we've mentioned on here before, one of our biggest hurdles in getting out more content is time. More often than not, we only get 1 recording day a week. That and having full time jobs/young children definitely makes this a difficult balancing act. That being said, we do understand that we can be more efficient with our time in other ways. In an effort to get to more content, we will focus on reducing our Intros and Outros when possible and use that saved up time to watch more videos. This is a work in progress for us (Starting already this week), and we'll do as much as we can without risking burning out. We hope you understand, and we appreciate the little extra patience 🙏🏼
Content Emphasis - As musicians/Singers we absolutely LOVE a lot of what we're discovering with BTS when it comes to music and live performances. BUT, we have also been SHOCKED at how much we've grown to enjoy seeing personality focused videos of them as well. Some of our patrons prefer we focus on music while others want the focus to be on Documentaries, & compilation videos. Right now we are trying to balance the 2, as we do truly enjoy both of them.
Tier 2 - There have been a lot of questions and comments about how to handle some of the tier 2 material, including Behind the Cam, and TRoB Deleted scenes. It has been difficult to add these to the end of our reactions given our current recording schedule but trust us, we are looking into solutions.
Also as we've mentioned before, the plan is to increase the pace of RUN BTS once we finish other documentaries such as TRoB. Biweekly is a temporary approach to try and get to as many different things at once as we can.
That being said we also know about shows like In The Soop and Burn The Stage. We do know Burn the Stage happened during BV but In The Soop came after. So maybe we go in order and watch Burn the Stage after finishing Season 2 of Bon Voyage 😊. (Just a little insight in our thinking and how we are trying to plan things).
Mail Monday - We saw a few comments saying that Mail Monday is replacing BTS content. We wanted to clear the air a bit. This is never the intention. Again , being fully transparent, in the month of April there was a lot of traveling on our end so we were falling behind on recording content. We had already pre-recorded a couple of mail videos and we needed a little extra time to help us get caught up. Releasing the MAIL videos was a way to get something out while we worked on getting new material filmed. As you may have noticed, we generally release Mail Videos as "BONUS" content during the week and that's always been the plan, but occasionally we may need to deviate a bit.
Thank You Admins - And finally, we wanted to take a moment to thank our awesome admins and moderators. We truly mean it when we say, they play a MAJOR role in keeping us afloat. Many of those who help us (i.e. Juli) are ARMY veterans and have been great at letting us know when new content is on the horizon, as well as helping us navigate through all the content that's out there. Not to mention maintaining discord, and helping to constantly come up with new ideas to improve the channel and ultimately make the viewers happy 😊

As mentioned earlier in this post, we've tried to shift our approach a bit to allow for more reacting, beginning with this video. Bon Voyage S2E1 (Patreon Tier 2) - season 2 premiere!! We are back with a new season, and this time the guys are going to Hawaii! Are we jealous? Of course, but Are we excited? Absolutely!

Butterfly Live!! (Youtube) - The first CCW pick of the month! After having this song teased to us endlessly on BV we finally get to sit down and listen. On this occasion, we opted for a live performance 😁. PS - In case it wasn't obvious, this song was chosen by Daniel and Gabriel 💪🏼.

I agree with Olivia. Never let peoples comments dictate how you run your channel. You guys became big with BTS Army for a reason. I was appalled when I saw people complaining about content they think you should out on Patreon vs Youtube and saying they are going to cancel their Patreon. The sense of entitlement astounds me. (Also I love mail Mondays so please don't take that away!!) Thank you guys for all your content. No complaints here!!!

Kind of hurts to see some people upset with the long intros ‘taking time away from BTS” too. I feel like if they cut everything, it wouldn’t be an authentic reaction to me anymore. Ironic thing is that I honestly was a little sad to see that there isn’t one on the schedule this week😂 but not sad towards you guys but sad for being an idiot lol I’m definitely not perfect and hope you will see my apology and won’t happen like that again. I’m over passionate sometimes… it’s a problem.. and it really was coming from a caring place. I just want you to see it all and in the most thorough way possible purely for you to have the best experience… but I’ll do better remembering that I didn’t understand everything the first, second or even third time either lol it’s not like just bc you only react to the mv here once… that you aren’t ever going to watch them again or listen to the song again off camera… and that’s really the only reason I ever care. Especially deleted scenes are mainly expansions of scenes that made it into the actual episode. If they got the gist in the episode then it’s okay to move on and come back later if they want.. or watch on their own. Most would rather them get to watch something new instead of just deleted and behind the scenes for one of the videos of the week. They only have so much time right now so it’s how they’re doing it until further notice

2023-05-09 09:34:53 +0000 UTCThere is also a “butterfly prologue mix” song that is only the vocal line… it’s almost entirely instrumental with just a bit of the chorus… and has only a few new or different lines that are not in the actual song “butterfly,” and the prologue mix is the one that is used for the “on stage prologue “ mv you guys skipped that was supposed to be right after “I need u” and before “run.” The video is one of the most beautifully shot mvs they have… it’s cool that there’s little lyrics.. and just the boys doing different things together… there’s a totally different piano part added to that one as well. I was kinda bummed for you guys when you skipped it but just bc I know how Daniel and gabe are especially when it comes to the actual instrumental part of the song.. and the cinematic video with all that instrumental is right up your alley. The vocal line actually sang the butterfly prologue mix version at that big free concert in busan.. I think for the first time ever… there were like what looked like butterflies flying around bc of what they did to make it look like it to us who weren’t there.. but yeh it’s a beautiful song and you guys saw one of the main clips for the video and paused and were gushing about it.. the colors are so bright and saturated and they really use different shades in this mv to differentiate things going on… you’ll like it if you get to see the video someday… guarantee it!!!

If people don't like it there are plenty of other reactors they can go watch. I have NEVER felt like you all were not genuine or doing any of this for clout or money. Trust me, I have two grown boys so I know YouTube would in no way support a family, lol. Like I mentioned I think cutting down some of the categories on discord might help. Or having a category for just suggestions to react to. But people still need to understand that making a suggestion is not a guarantee that it will be reacted to immediately, but more just to help suggest things that maybe don't get suggested a lot. I read some pretty rude comments lately and that is completely unacceptable as a true ARMY and we don't need that energy on this channel. There is no room for selfishness or negativity. These folks are beyond sweet and they are just trying to enjoy reacting and enjoy getting to know new people and enjoy the absolute talent, happiness, and amazement that is BTS. So stop ruining it for them and just move on if you are not satisfied or happy with their content. I have been an admin and it is not an easy job so leave them alone as well. As a Senior Army (51), I jumped in this rabbit hole in 2019 and I still have more to see. You have 2 households to figure out schedules. You can't stuff 10 years of content in one year. In the words of Namjoon, Do you! Enjoy the ride. You will find things out you never thought about. You will find hurtful moments. You will find angry moments. You will find lots of laughter. You do need to have one week full of their chaos. From concert chaos, Award shows, Run BTS, compilations, their habits, etc. I'm not musically inclined so I'm trying to learn from Daniel and Gabriel when they talk about chords. But please if its too much slow down id rather that then have you all burn out and have no content at all. I know you can't please everyone and people need to be patient and just know you will get to all the requests in time. Im also glad you are thinking of doing burn the stage its an amazing docuseries about them on tour it gives you more insight on how they handle each other and all the behind the scenes of concerts. You probably will see scenes from rise of bangtan in there because the person who did that docuseries took a lot of clips from burn the stage but you will get things in context instead of just a small clip . Any looking forward to all you have for us especially more personality videos those are the best. Keep up the great work guys but remember to take time for yourselves as well.
