We are back with another Mail Monday Episode! This one was chaotic of course (I think it's safe to say that it's a given at this point 😅) We had a whole lot of fun with this one, including one HUGE surprise 😱.

I hope you continue to take it at your pace and not get stressed about pleasing everyone. I personally can't afford to be here every month but will always come back to support you whenever I can. 2023-05-04 07:23:41 +0000 UTCI wanted to ask if you could react to an mv with a dance practice/live performance together when you do their music. The songs are like 3-4 min…. And instead of reading a synopsis and discussing or guessing what that means w the title before you watch the mv…. Just short convo w no synopsis before watching bc the intros are usually like 7-10 min … and if you take out the synopsis and instead get to hear the song twice, see the mv which gives you an idea about the concept…. But since you can’t read the lyrics and watch the mv both fully at the same time…. Hearing the song a second time either dance practice w lyrics bc sometimes the dances show elements reinforcing the message, or a live performance so you not only get to hear the song a second time…. But you get to appreciate how much better their music is live… bc it is… and considering your music and singing background knowledge… it’s wild that you can’t pick out their voices in a live performance just bc you have that kinda background already… but it’s not your fault.. it’s bc you watch mostly mvs and personality videos… 30% of BTS is hearing their music live, getting to understand and appreciate how the songs are delivered live with so much more emotion and intention… you’ll get to see the full choreo for the songs bc there’s either none or a little in the mvs… like it’s wild you haven’t seen the dance practice for ON… it would blow your minds…. But after every single mv… you guys end with more questions than answers… bc it’s a lot of info to absorb only seeing it and hearing it once. It’s up to you guys obviously… but cutting out the synopsis discussion and reading and replacing it with heading the song a second time w either just the choreo and song, or the choreo , song, outfits and live vocals which are 20 times better than the studio versions. Honestly this will take the same amount of time but be so much more rewarding for you guys and you ALWAYS flip out about their music , vocals , rap and dance live…. You really do…. But it’s crazy how few live performances you’ve seen bc you guys love that part of music … and it’s such a huge part of BTS…. I don’t care for myself.. it breaks my heart for you guys bc you often don’t even really remember the songs you’ve heard… but how could you with just hearing a lot of them one time. So many times questions you have at the end of the mvs would be answered by hearing the song a second time… it’s just more fun and impactful live or with the full dance. I’m only wanting the best experience for you guys. I’ll be here regardless of how you do it… it’s just sad watching you get 60% of songs that’s all! But love you guys tons and enjoy being on the journey with you in some ways…. Congrats on the gifts!!!

2023-05-04 07:11:13 +0000 UTCDef a good idea and will actually save them way more time to do it this way then how they’re doing it.. with rise of bangtan when they do the bonus content right after they post them separately but get into them right after the episode. When they do it that way there’s no long intro which are like 7-10 min most of the time.. but the behinds are usually only like 5 min. Makes sense to add 7 min to watching the episodes day as opposed to having to take another reaction day away from us , and film longer than they would have if they just did it the same day bc of long intros bc they usually try to remember what the episode was about and kinda go back and forth about that before getting into the bonus content/deleted scenes which they wouldn’t need doing it right away. Tbh if they’re going to continue to do them separately like this and take a BTS reaction day w that… I would much rather them skip them all together… I love the deleted scenes in everything but at this point they’re so far behind anything I’ve ever seen with reactors when it comes to BTS and their music. They’re musicians and singers.. but had no clue whose voice was who’s live…. Which shocked me bc I know their musicians and singers… until I realized they’re only watching mvs and personality content most of the time… and any army knows that like 30% of why ppl are so obsessed with BTS is their live performances… they’re legendary performers for so many reasons. I don’t think they understand that with BTS even if they’re doing a song for one performance live…. The next time they do it live will be different , set pieces, outfits, arrangements…. Some will be with a band and others just the track.. different arrangement bc it’s the live band… I mean it’s not like western artists where not much changes…. Like I think In japan they use live band more often than not for big sections of the concert or like the title medleys are always new and fresh… so it’s not even that we just want them to see one performance of a song… we want them to see the best ones which are different or we wouldn’t care if they saw the same one twice ya know lol It’s hard bc I don’t say all this stuff for myself… I truly just care about their experience with the music and especially for musicians and singers I’ve never seen ppl not always remember the songs they’ve heard… but that’s just bc most ppl do mvs, dance practice/live performances and really get to understand the music, the concept.. you remember when you have a better understanding of something and just know they would grasp more that way. I love them and their personalities and enjoy their reactions to anything… they’re great people! They’ve only got so much time to record , they’ve got lives and families and that’s absolutely amazing and of course we don’t want them overdoing it or not enjoying it personally ya know…. I just know there’s always the same suggestions and comments from other ppl like me who can see easier ways for a lot of the same comments and suggestions on every video… haven’t seen them take a ton of army suggestions when it comes to this… but maybe we need to manage our expectations more and not expect them to really dive in and get to know the music and content in the way all of us have. If they just enjoy keeping things surface level when it comes to BTS music and content… then we just have to accept that… if they’re not actually interested in deep diving into the music and content… and just watch and support for that more surface level understanding and appreciation. I don’t think that’s what they want… it’s not what they say that they want.. but just their choices and actions kinda give that impression… and again it’s fine and just have to manage our expectations more and just cheer them on a what they want to do … even if our hearts are in the right place
