I would recommend watching the Baepsae explanation video by DKDKTV in addition to the live performance and/or lyric video. There's a lot of cultural reference in the song that need to be understood properly in order to appreciate the song.

I agree with this. I think there are some iconic performances for me, but I don’t consider this to be one of them. I feel like ARMY is just doing it because of the “hip thrust”— but based on CCW’s personality, I don’t think they would care for it the way “thirsty” ARMYs are. Personally, I prefer their dance practice for Bapsae more… it’s funny.

I think you guys should watch this medley performance instead https://youtu.be/VKcfVaeFWvo It is in Korean so the songs will sound the same.. and it’s actually a fancam.. but it’s great quality and it’s literally right where the main camera is at the end of the thrust stage so they all come down there and sing and rap right to that camera and that area of the stage. This one is in LA and the energy is unmatchable … the one you have is in Japan and the fans aren’t able to get into it as much as they are in the US or other places… but the fan response makes them go even harder and this is insane energy. Ppl may worry bc it’s a fancam but it’s someone that goes to concerts of multiple artists and they are literally at the bottom of the stage… they shoot it well and all the dance parts are right in front of us…. This literally feels like you’re at the concert with them lol even in the official one like the Japan one… it’s pretty much a fancam bc they can only focus on one person at a time since they’re all over the place… the energy of this one is so much better … and a lot of people don’t like the Japanese as much as the original… think this is still top tier experience and better energy

A suggestion guys, I strongly believe that reacting to medleys with songs that they haven't heard in full yet is not exactly the best idea because it takes away the chance of them knowing what the song is about, and then they'll probably have to go back and listen to it again with lyrics and all (I'm thinking of ways to save them time since the BTS content is A LOT), in this case Baepsae has deep meaning so it'll be more meaningful to react to the live performance of the song in full or the dance practice maybe, along with the explanation video (could be DKDKTV). Also, we keep doing Japanese live performances which is not a bad thing of course, but they are mainly reacting to the Korean versions so I think is good to stick with that unless it is a Japanese song like Your Eyes Tell 🤔

You guys should watch Baepsae before you watch the group stage. Plus the one people always recommend is the Japanese version and you should hear the originals first. So I know you just go with the poll but please consider that a medley of Japanese versions is not the best way to be introduced to new tracks. If you're going to do it, watch the Korean one. It's overall better.

You're never gonna see the performance that literally is being touted as one of the best Grammy performances of ALL TIME! no spoilers but since you're not ever gonna see it they do a jacket trick that is INCREDIBLE!! Everytime they perform it's better, it's different, it's a new creation!! But they did kill it at the Grammy's last year and it felt SO GOOD watching all the other artists watch in amazement!
