I have it tough with Suga. He's basically a light switch, a forever tease. The sweet Yoongi, moody Yoongi, adorable Yoongi, the unbothered King Yoongi, then this in-your-face, super cool Agust D Yoongi. I'm exhausted from being in admiration of all these Yoongis. OT7 is my bias while he's my constant bias wrecker. Life is hard.

It's a song he wrote & produced for Psy (of "Gangnam Style" fame) and then Psy convinced him to dance & star in the video with him. It's quite funny thinking about how Suga never wanted to dance when he joined BTS & in one scene of the video where the old Gangman Style Psy character shows up & Suga kills him off.

Ofc, each one of us has his own standard of ‘good’, but I’m trying to tell this - compared to CCW who seem to be quite professional musicians/instrument players (at least CCW men for sure) to me, BTS are not professional musicians (in terms of playing instruments) for sure. Jungkook’s latest drumming skills can be seen on Run BTS episode ‘On-air’. I am not behind on his knowledge of instruments. Btw, Jungkook is my bias. 😄 And where have we seen how he plays the piano? I jave never seen it and google or youtube also has no proof of that 😄 I am just being objective as I know what a professional musician is. I just wanted to tell CCW who are clearly musically skilled (Daniel & Gabriel straight away figuring out the chord progressions is a clear proof) that BTS playing instruments may not be what they have maybe imagined. 😄

And then dances and points to JKs iconic drawing lol but it kinda does look like Doug funny… not gonna lie. Also not sure if you caught on but there’s only two versions of suga here. The tyrannical king suga and the straw hat suga is the one who started the song… notice he’s rapping in the beginning with 6 guys around him to represent the BTS members… even though Jin and jungkook are in this mv lol Jin has on fake facial hair and you kinda only see the side of JKs face but they start fighting each other after Jin bumps into suga

2023-03-10 13:38:23 +0000 UTCYeh he stood one one person and that opening shot that you thought was so pretty (which it is a gorgeous shot) those are like 10 dead bodies who had been beheaded and their heads were in the boxes lol these are obviously symbolic of yoongis haters or even ppl he had beef with previously .. bc in his older music he def goes in on a lot of things thrown at him or hate he received from the underground rappers.. you know he took them out and here he is the king… however you’ll notice this tyrannical king is alone… he trusts no one… he kills his enemies or haters and the music is played to announce the kings arrival… but normally instead of dead bodies for him to walk out to… there would be his subjects or his ppl … but bc the king yoongi trusts no one .. he isolated himself so he has no one to celebrate his victories with.. nobody at his side… and bc he’s afraid of getting played or hurt… he keeps ppl at a distance… while remaining up on his throne above everybody. That’s younger yoongi mentality of being alone at the top .. never letting ppl to close. Now I’m the street yoongi has his friends that go with him everywhere…. He walks down the street and everybody says hi or waves… and you see Jin runs into him and then jk and Jin start fighting in the back.. but that’s showing that this new street yoongi didn’t need to turn and fight the person that bumped him.. he didn’t even look at them or let it phase him…. Bc he’s good and in a good place mentally. We see him get car keys from a shop owner… so these aren’t just his friends but these are the kings ppl… but they’ve got street yoongis back … and even though the king is a tyrant they’re going to support yoongi while he shoots his shot , no pun intended… even tho he could kill them just for being there… but they believe in street yoongi… and he’s confident with them on his side… so he comes in and challenges the king. Notice the king gave him the thumbs up… but that wasn’t what they really went to do… so street yoongi starts talking crap so the king orders him to be beheaded….. so street yoongis putting his life in the line for the ppl.. and so once they bring yoongi to cut off his head… you see the king doing the sword ritual up by himself… he makes the same movements as the beheader guy is… but we see street yoongi isn’t scared… and he starts bowing and all the kings ppl follow his lead …. Trusting him… and while the king motions to cut off street yoongis head while the executioner does… we see street yoongi was freed… and the tyrant king sees his people aren’t only not following him… but they’re following street yoongi… and he accepts his defeat…. And even tho king yoongi wasn’t willing to do his own dirty work with beheading… street yoongi steps up to take out the king. The executioner was actually one of the men in the street market shops that he said hi to in the beginning of the video. Bc street yoongi is more mature yoongi.. who realizes you don’t have to take everyone down that hates on you.. you don’t have to walk yourself up and live on the top alone…. Street yoongi isn’t a tyrant… he’s part of a community that trusted in him to help them. That’s mostly just my interpretation from things he said about the song and the music video and kinda how those things played out to me. Think the major plot of old isolated paranoid person who has to do everything himself and alone and confront anyone who says a bad word about him… and this yoongi who is so happy with who he is and who he has surrounded himself with… he doesn’t have to fight battles alone… and not all ignorant haters need to turn into battles… he’s secure with who he is and how he lives now … that’s growth man

2023-03-10 12:56:17 +0000 UTCJungkooks been playing drums for awhile actually lol he just restarted taking lessons regularly, taught himself to play the guitar and knows how to play the piano… jungkook is good at all of these… not a professional on any level… definitely a lot more than “a bit.” Just to clarify since you seem to be a bit behind on jungkooks knowledge of instruments and what he can play. The only thing I’d say he can only play “a bit” of would be bass guitar.

But do watch the making when you can even though it's not going to be the winning poll.. You'll see how this MV is done right to it's historical location, which by the way, you can go visit if you want to as it's used many times as a Period K-Drama shooting location.

It makes this MV much easier to understand why Traditional vs. Modern is depicted, you’ll never imagine the thought process put into this piece of work. It’s stunning. In his first mixtape, he was blonde and it seemed like the goal was to put all the disrespectful haters in their place. He became almost like a mad king, striking others down to prove himself. In this MV, the down-to-earth Agust D starts a grass roots coup to get rid of the tyrant and live as a common person. He doesn't need to lord over the haters anymore; he has proven himself. He destroys the egotistical, angry version of himself and puts his feet back on the ground. He's gone as high as anyone can, but he didn't like the person he had become. So he gets rid of that version of himself and decides to be humble and live a more "common" life. That's always been my interpretation of the video and of his description of it. He also said that he wasn't referring to anyone in particular with his comments about other rappers, but if people assume he's talking about them, they're just telling on themselves. I love that... and him!

It wasn’t as in depth as BT and he goes on a long tangent about the emperor and the rice chest. But overall, I don’t mind their added opinions. But I certainly appreciate BT’s approach and incorporating Yoongi’s statements into her video.

That’s how i was able to tell them apart as well. Alot of people constantly confused V and JK, but I didn’t because their expressions and their eyes were completely different to me. So I didn’t see how people even got them mixed up. I seen this video like only knowing about them for a 2-3weeks and noticed the that it was jin and jk right away. Mainly because of jin’s expression.

I prefer here’s over DKDKTV’s because she bases her explanation more on fact and what Yoongi has said about the MV. He exaggerates his voice to make it sound like the record is being scratched on a turntable at times. His flow switches so much in one song. Sometimes I listen and wonder how he doesn't run out of air. His song "The Last" is a prime example of cadence switches. It's my favorite Agust D song...highly recommend it. I blast Agust D a lot so I cannot wait to see and hear him perform on tour. 🔥🔥🔥

So i never paid attention to him having facial hair until after he was fighting jk. And i spotted jin’s face right away because of the look he gave to suga when he bumped into him as well. I thought he was gonna come back to fight suga or yell at him is why i was focused on him. And when i saw him fighting another guy in the back, i noticed he looked alot like jk from the side.

2023-03-09 18:59:21 +0000 UTCI have to tell you guys just so you know - you sometimes mention (especially Daniel) that some members are playing piano, drums, guitars or whatever. Sometimes it seems like you think they are really good at it :D Keep in mind that while Suga may be quite good at piano/guitar (but not at professional level I think) the others know just a bit.. Some don't even know how to play any instruments, I think. Jungkook is only learning to play drums recently (he knew a little bit but know he is really learning). So if you thought some of them are like reaaallyy goood at instruments, I have to tell you the truth :D

As many others have said this has tons of cultural, historical, and personal references for Yoongi. Just in case you don’t get to any of the explanations, I wanna share at least that the gun that commoner Yoongi shot King Yoongi with was called a Colt Model 1860 ARMY Revolver. That tells how detailed they are about things in mvs. I mean you already knew that most things had a reason and this one is chock full of so many.

There are a couple of videos that contain many references and hidden meanings in their lyrics, as is the case with this video and another example would be Spring Day. I know your schedule is very tight, but at some point you might react to "Daechwita Explained by a Korean" on DKDKTV. believe me it is very necessary. P.S. There are other songs that also need these explanation videos, but they don't have MVs, because their lyrics have a lot to do with their Korean culture and there's more than just the subtitles of the song, like "UGH" "Ddaeng" and " Baepsae".

You also need to do the same for chicken noodle soup, the ot7 performance of the solo songs are always my fave, I love seeing how much they love and support their members by signing their solos together! Plus they do appear in each others solo videos! Jungkook and Jin were in this at the beginning and V is in J Hope’s music video for daydream, they’re all in Jungkook’s euphoria music video too!

In this MV, AGUSTD had 6 friends and the woman throughout the MV to represent the other 6 members and ARMY. Another example in Jin’s Astronaut, 7 planets are used. In JHope’s Jack in the Box art there are 7 hands holding him and RM’s Mono artwork RM standing and 7 shadow reflected. 2. I know you guys don’t watch or react to explanation videos, but if you choose to I would highly recommend Bookish Theory’s explanation over Danny’s explanation from DKDKTV. Bookish Theory video on Daechwita if far better than DKDKTV. She covers all same info plus many others including SUGA’s interviews.

I know that you guys would love First Love, he raps over a piano instrumental, I cry every time listening to that song. But, as I said, none of his solo songs are the same, they're all different, because Suga can literally turn anything into a rap song, different vibes, different topics, everything. You would fall in love with his material if you get to know it

That is the unusual music you hear in the background. It is often played in the changing of the guards at the palaces in Korea. In the movie he plays a king that likes to lob of his subject heads. If you watch Korean historical dramas the scenes are very familiar. You will see that BTS will often use cultural references in their songs and music and they often play Korean games in Run BTS. I am going to Korea in October so I am looking forward to hearing and watching the musicians play Daechwita at the palaces. Loved Jin and Jungkooks cameo a highlight. This song and the movie is epic as is the story behind it. Hope your mouth heals soon Summer! 💜💜💜💜
