The Rise of Bangtan Ep1 Deleted Scenes!

Comments

I would have but I was so confused with fancafe. My co-worker had to walk me through and I still couldn’t understand it.

Gracey Freeman

No

Bonnie Katlong

Jin wanting to cook with his future wife is so beautiful, pray that he meets a woman that enjoys cooking and food as much as him.

Emmy

I just want to cuddle baby JK so bad when I see these old videos. He was so young and so eager.

Mockingirl

If you want to see them getting into a "fight", you may check out their "Burn the stage" ep 4 where V and Jin got into a small fight and how the members helped them talk through it. It was soooo sweet and cute. Here is a link of the cut: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxFOgWFCang

Christina Fay

The clip at 5:50 always breaks my heart! But it's crazy to think about that clip and then the crowd he had at Hobipalooza. Proud of our Jhope!

Pahton Hulmes

Please also watch the bangtan boys American hustle life. It was funny.

Jhoy Sola

They've always said they had a lot of agreements because they were so different from each other. Of course in the beginning, what they chose to show were all positive. Starting with their Burn the Stage (YouTube premium series) they decided they wanted to show even the negatives. In that series, you'll see an argument and how they resolve it, members pretty much close to passing out during concerts. Basically thing's they were kind of scared to show before because it's not normal in their industry. Another random tidbit about their finances, in the beginning fans also gifted them with a lot of luxury brand clothes that a few members still wear here and there. BigHit decided they were no longer going to accept gift packages maybe around 2018. They were only going to accept letters.

Trishie

They've had many disagreements but they usually work it out as a group. An example would be the dumpling incident between V and Jimin, or the one between V and Jin in Burn The Stage, which is another series for you to watch 😉.

Jessie

Yes 💯

Zoe Bees

Guys you probably already know but just to clear things up: V wasnt in the first Video because he was a hidden member; meaning Big Hit was afraid that another company would steal him from them, because he was seen as BigHits Secret weapon, and they were right about him! Taehyung went from Secret Member to most biased and popular Kpop idol in the world! (Proud)

I sometimes wish I can go back in time to be ARMY since their debut. And also be a fan during the vlogs. I would also love to go back in time to spam Hope with millions of love and 'Marry Me Hope 'messages. All 7 are my everything. 💜

OT7Bangtan

Can anyone help me with the discord link please🙏

Nabila Dosani

Apparently there was also an argument between Namjoon and Yoongi where they started throwing laundry at each other out of frustration. And when Hobi and Jimin (or was it JK?) got home, Hobi got mad cause they were the ones who had washed and folded all the laundry. Joon and Yoongi ended up apologizing to Hobi. Anywho, just sth I heard - feel free to correct me ARMY.

Rose

There was also an incident between J-hope and JK regarding bananas and then the members also got upset at RM for eating Jjangmyeon without them.

Keren Metz

The thing that blows me away is thinking about how they absolutely have to trust each other that everyone will pull their weight and work as hard as everyone else. 7 people, on the same page, committed, for more than 10 years. It's impressive.

Raevan21

I was already into Kpop before BTS debuted but it was discovering their logs that got me hooked. I came across them by accident and would wait eagerly for each one to get uploaded. Really love this whole series.

Chris Drady

So excited. You guys are getting into such amazing BTS videos I can’t wait for it all to come out!

Bertha Tillman

The Deleted scenes and Bonus content are just as essential as the main episode itself in my opinion!

Alice

I would suggest watching the deleted scenes first, and then the bonus content (together in one video if possible). The deleted scenes fit thematically with the episodes. The bonus content is often random funny clips filmed in the same time period that the episode took place in. By watching the bonus content last you always end with a laugh. The bonus content is usually chaotic and fun.

Frances

I think the only conflict caught on camera is the the Jin& V fight from Burn the Stage but there is also 2 songs written by the fight Jimin & V had called “dumpling incident”. They both have explained exactly how it went down many times and due to the argument the songs ‘Friends’ and ‘4 O’clock’ came to be! They also have told manyyy stories regarding their past conflicts . And they always mention that they grow closer once resolved and I really adore that 💜💜💜

Maya001

Hi guys, Medellin Colombia here 🇨🇴 I just got in! Love your genuine reactions and thoughts 💜 also, was so funny army said you guys weren’t ready to watch this, but in fact, what I believe speaking of fan made videos, its that you guys aren’t ready to watch the Cameron Philip dubbed series’s of BTS. It’s TO DIE LAUGHING!!! I love that you are so family friendly but with Cameron it’s another level. I would loooooooove to watch you guys react to it, think about it :3

Jeon Luisa Medellin

Few ppl are saying the part where Jin and V has a dispute that you can watch that part on ROB, but thing is it doesn’t show the entire dispute like it does from the original docu-series of Burn The Stage, so I wish you guys could just watch the original to get the full picture rather than from ROB where they just extract parts from the official Burn The Stage which doesn’t do it proper justice really.

Betty Suwan

The song they performed with the small crowd was a cover OF "You're My" by Taeyang (The artisit Jimin collabed with for 'Vibe')

Mani K

You mentioned that we're coming up on Suga's birthday and that's true, we are! March 9th! But j-hope's is literally in like 2 weeks! February 18th! Our heart-shaped boy born in the month of love. How appropriate! I hope you'll be doing your birthday reactions for both of them. For Hobi, I recommend Hobipalooza (j-hope at Lollapalooza) and a Second Leader or Dance Leader compilation along with an MV or two! I'm excited!

SNBangtan

When you guys mentioned if they have ever had a dispute…..guys this is why I say what I say to watch!!! (Burn the stage) 😭😆….I will be patiently waiting 🙏🏼💜😊

Betty Suwan

On the behind the scenes, it has a white border, and your subtitles are also white, so it's difficult to see them sometimes. Just thought I'd mention it. Both the deleted scenes are usually clips that would have fit with where the narration was going, but couldn't be included due to time. The bonus scenes are more clips that didn't really fit the narrative and are just extra stuff.

Megan

The “Abby you would’ve sent him a message” to Hobi was so sweet. It’s a thing we think back to a lot as a fandom and we will always support hobi 110% in every thing he does because he used to not get that.

Raya Levine

We stan them as much as we can lol

Darlene Dato-on

I know you guys are overwhelmed with content suggestions but since Rise of Bangtan Chapter 1 talks about Seo Taiji & the Boys as kind of starting the K-pop thing, someday you should watch Seo Taiji's 25th anniversary concert from 2017. GREAT Band, GREAT Audience interaction & SO MUCH FUN watching BTS breakdance! The whole concert is on Seo Taiji's YT channel. But the YT channel "EnjoyBTSMore" has some great clips. Here's their description: "💜 In 2017, BTS performed at the 25th-anniversary concert for Seo Taiji, a revolutionary Korean music legend from the 90′s. BTS served as backup vocalists and dancers for eight songs of the concert, replacing Yang Hyun Suk and Lee Juno as Seo's Boys for the night." Here's a link to just one of the songs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0T6MVYxC8s

Gloria Cleveland

I don’t think they can take away the bars at the top and bottom, but I think they can change the caption type, to make it clearer. I’m not sure, but I saw on another reaction that he had different captions, that were easily visible.

TSO 아포방포

Hello from Portugal! I love your reactions! Borahae

Isabel Oliveira

Yes. I always go by their birth year rather than the age they call themselves.

TSO 아포방포

The company kept things simple in the beginning. Pop up tent, banner, tables, little bullhorns so the boys would be heard and some equipment so they could sing and that was about it for a lot of the first fan meetings. They had their YT channel and everything was posted there. I think you guys can listen to anything on Soundcloud after the episode airs. I think the only one that army would really want you to react to would be Jimin's Promise. That is the only song that really has no other platform that it is available on.

Rae Avilez

I think the only per diem that they had were the two meals they ate at the little restuarant next door most days lol! I also remember all the info you shared as well and yes many blessing to Aneesa for this beautiful series!

Rae Avilez

Hello. Just watched this. Just signed up for Patreon just now. I told you this before in a comment, but you may have not read it. I used to live in Plano, TX. At Park and Preston they had the Tom Thumb and across McDonald's. That's it. I lived near Parker and Preston in some apartments and going north on Preston..there was nothing but countryside and the little town of Frisco. No big mall. Nothing. I worked at Legacy and Preston at EDS, Electronic Data Systems when Ross Perot still owned it. I worked there 15 years and saw Frisco grow. But I am sure I wouldn't even recognize it. Except the big mall I watch go up and open

IDEA Girl

Just a comment about the basketball. Their current dance studio, in the Hybe building, has one of those portable basketball hoops set up in it. You can see it in a lot of behind-the-scenes footage. This studio is only for BTS to use, so I'm sure the members use the basketball hoop. And during the second In-the-Soop season, there was a basketball court and Jimin and Suga both used it. In fact, Suga was giving Jimin some coaching - it was adorable.

CDragon21

Bonus content are more fun sides of them.. It's actually fun to watch.

Miz Ann

Yes chapter 14 of TROB it's there..

Miz Ann

On Daniel and Gabriel’s thought how the financials these days were. I saw RM thanking Bang PD in one of their earlier award acceptance speeches where he said thank you for sticking with them, paying for their dorm even when the company as a whole was saying to cut them. Also around this time, Jin was spending his money to “raise” JK by driving him to school and feeding the group on days when it’s hard. He even used his mom’s dishes and ingredients to make food for them. He used his own credit card to get JK and the boys food. There’s a video saying that RM was the reason that JK joined but Jin was the reason that JK stayed. Jin even invited JK to his home to eat with his family. It is said that Jin’s family is the most well off among BTS. He’s the youngest at home and he had to step up as the big bro with BTS. Suga was working part time to support himself too, delivering food. That’s when he hurt his shoulder (motorcycle accident) but didn’t tell the company as he feared he’d be fired. Years later when the company learned about it, they wished they knew sooner. They paid for Suga’s college. Also found that in one of the vids. Jhope’s mom had to work away from home to support Hobi’s dance classes and training . V’s parents were humble farmers and had to leave him with his grandma. His grandma raised him for 14 yrs. Not sure if there was any company per diem back then though. Thank you for starting the series. We love BTS equally for their personalities and music. Aneesa did excellently with this TROB series. Bless her! Now I cannot personally authenticate all the info above and I wish I can provide the links to those videos I mentioned above. I only relayed what I have seen and heard from other videos. On the boys fighting…you’ll find out… Enjoy the rabbit hole!

Darlene Dato-on

Yes, I actually meant the series on Youtube lol, I mixed it up with the full movie

siibun

The film is interesting but the series is more complete and explain the context. You can watch both they are complementary

Ailaudy93

Interesting that you mentioned dispute, in BTS' "Burn the Stage" movie there's a part where Jin and Taehyung where arguing. It would be soo interesting if you guys react to it, the movie is hours-long but is broken down into several parts. There you can also see how BTS deals with any argument in general, they sit down and talk, even though the argument is maybe just between two people.

siibun

Yay!

Lisa Thomas Le

That's a big part of why i became army from 2015 and still present. THEY ARE NOT AFRAID TO SPEAK THEIR MIND!!!!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Kearyce Moore

Hope you have access to all the RoB chapters. I was waiting for your RoB reactions since the beginning 🫂

Nyx

This got to us too 😞

CCW

SUGA used to do part-time jobs too... that's where that accident happened... He had done waiter, delivery job and sometime a dish washer too I guess

Tarnnum

BTW, just wanted to mention "Korean Age" can be 1-2 years more than international age since it is based on the Lunar Calendar! Korea will be abandoning this confusing age calculation system June of this year thank god. :D

j

Hi guys, new Patreon supporter here! 😊 I've seen some people do the Deleted Scenes and Bonus Content as one reaction video, so maybe that might be the most efficient way if you guys are short on time 😄 I'd say deleted scenes are like what the editor thought of putting in the episodes but they didn't fit or something. The bonus content is like other iconic footage, they're usually funny! But both of them are like compilations of clips from the time period of the actual episode.

Lauren

I've also heard some people say that the whole "jin was wealthy" is just a rumour so idk if that's true. Maybe he just wasn't as poor as some others? But yeah they were definitely each others' support system ♥️

Lauren

Can't wait for you guys to see the infamous "ARGUMENT"!!!! Loved rewatching this with the CCW fam! xoxo

j

Regarding their arguments, the boys are pretty open about it, and said multiple times that they used to fight (physically). Their personalities are just really different. BigHit told them that it was ok to fight but then they need to discuss the problem all together and then explain what happened to the company. You will see some of it on an episode of the Rise

Rasha

Guys, can you take out the two white bands at the top and bottom of the screen please? It prevents us from being able to read the white subtitles. Thank you 💜

Saphy⁷

Yeppp, that's why you'll see maybe in the future that Jin was always joking about how he's paid for JK's meals and spent millions for him. He takes JK to his family living in Seoul and drives him to school too. He truly became a big brother to Jk 🥹🤧💜 But also just to put it, even if Jin's family was wealthy, he still managed to live in a cramped dorm with the boys, live independently and be the eldest hyung to everyone. 😭🤧💜 I miss my baby 😫

J-Lee

There is a clip of Jin and V arguing in Burn the Stage documentary :))

limeline

Love this series and your reaction. My heart hurt when Jin talked about wanting a wife, and Suga said he used to play basketball. They gave up so much of their individual interests to become one team.

Lisa M T

Hello CCW! 💜 To sum up the difference amongst these episodes per chapter thru emojis: Regular chapters: 🥺😢😭 Deleted Scenes: 🥹🤧😊 Bonus Content: 😆😂🤣 Y'all gonna get it as you continue to watch the chapters. Aaanndd I am here to witness it!! 🙌💜 Also, just to answer Abby there-- it didn't exactly take them like 5 yrs to hit records and stuff. They won the Rookie/Best New Artist award during their first year. Then 2016 (after 3yrs from debut), they won their first daesang (major award, album of the year in MMA and artist of the year in MAMA). 💜 They could've gotten them earlier I guess if they had the power of big agencies had. You will get there anyways in the future episodes of TRoB for more detailed context so you'll understand why 🥰💜 Thanks for getting to this! I'm excited for the future episodes. Borahae CCW 💜

J-Lee

I think they mean starting from Ep 3

Khadijah(deejahkosmos)⁷

Also one thing through the course of the series u get to see how their personality evolves with time bcoz initially some of them were really shy, super hard on themselves, they had like a certain image to maintain(especially in their rookie years) so as episodes go u will see the side of them which is more close to what they are like now, there is a shift u will see with each one of them as episodes go.. Thanks for your reactions..💜

Yuktha

the boys were paid by BigHit only after debut, before that some had to work part time job like Youngi and their parents send them money (JHope mother had to take a second job to help him). Don't forget that they were also going to school and their parents had to pay for their education at the same time.

Rasha

Oh y’all want an argument? Haha just wait 👀👀👀

Dani

Hi Army! Did you mean the first chapter? It's in YouTube 💜

J-Lee

Don’t cancel me lol but are y’all also watching the first episode today or next Saturday ? 👀

Sella

I think you guys are now ready to watch "you quiz on the block". They talked a lot about their early days in that interview. 💜

jam

Big Hit was a really small company and did not have the resources that a lot of the other agencies did. They had to be creative in finding ways on how to market the group without having to spend too much money, so I think the diary logs (which were released on YouTube) were done to stimulate interest and develop a following before they even debuted, because it made people feel invested in their future as a group. Bang PD is a really brilliant musician as well as a market strategist.

Trish Pañares

Yes same here I’m like how do they know what they’re saying and realized it was the border the reason I couldn’t see

Monica Ibanez

Suga goes to basketball games and there's footage of him giving Jimin tips on IN THE SOOP Season 2

Nellie Z

To answer your question: Yes, as you go through these TROB episodes, you'll get a content where they actually show 2 members getting into a heated arguement and show how they (always) resolve such instances. It's in Burn The Stage series too. but TROB will touch on that too. You're in some serious and wild ride! Enjoy it 💜💜💜

jmgi

I do remember seeing V and Jin had an argument and it was tense and their resolution was shown. And as you know, they always resolve conflict as a group. BTW, they used YouTube to log their logs. I think you can still watch them on BangtanTv. As for finances, Suga had a second job as a trainee that resulted in his shoulder injury (he had to have surgery in 2020). Jin’s family is wealthy and Jin used to pay for JK’s meals. JHope’s mom supported him (he has a song dedicated to his mom, which is so sweet). I don’t know about Jimin and V. I’m really excited to watch this series with you guys.

Yukari

also big hit was on the verge of bankruptcy with bts’s debut. and also they were the only active group coming out of big hit at that time

jimimphile

I’m excited for this series! My favorite episode is the one called friends, so I’m excited for you to get to that one💜 one thing to understand because sometimes it gets overlooked is she’s showing BTS plus other groups to show the difference of how BTS was brought up. They had rules of course but not like other idols do, BTS is treated much better compared to how other companies treat their idols. Great reaction, thank you 💜💜

Marcy Turney

There are none for ep 1 and 2 😊

Princilla

I know a couple of the members had part time jobs while they were trainees, Jin had some money. Big Hit had a couple of groups signed to them that weren't hugely successful. But i am sure that maybe loans were taken out or even their own resources were used in the early years.

Mishianna Summerville

without the white*

jimimphile

awesome vid but adding subs to the original video would totally help

jimimphile

Money wise I now suga brother gave him money, jhope mom got a second job to help him and their parents too

Samantha Rivero

Unable to see the subtitles due to the white border. 😣

Suga's iced-coffee

LET'S GET THIS BREAD

Dana

LET’S GOOO 💜💜

DzulGM

AWESOME!!!!!.💜💜💜😁

Saph

Are you going to watch only the bonus scenes starting with episode 3 or are you doing both the bonus and the deleted scenes??

sara

Yes!!! 💜💜💜💜

Trish Pañares

let’s go!
