It will def have you thinking wtf did I just watch! The whole BU is it’s own rabbit hole that had so much thought and planning it is unreal. Blood Sweat and Tears is a masterpiece for sure. ….just when you thought you couldn’t be surprised anymore… Spring Day def needs to be followed by the Italian Army explanation. It moves fast but it is the most comprehensive.

I can't wait for you to react to more iconic songs from them, such as Fire, Not Today, We are Bulletprof part 2 for example that are a little older. And the song Run BTS, which was the last one with choreography and everyone loves it! Mama 2019 has N.O. and We Are BullletProf part 2 which for me is one of their most insane choreographies from the beginning of their career. Just like Danger's dance practice, they are so synchronized. There are so many materials, but I am happy to follow you reacting. A lot of success always!!!!

Please watch it in the reaction and not off camera because I want to hear your opinions on what happened. There was an accident with a boat and there was government interference and it was super suspicious tbh, that is what Spring Day is based on.

I get it that an argument can be made that BST is out of order for BU, but BST is very important in the BU. First, the overall theme of BU is carried in BST. The end scenes of the Wings Short Films is the prelude to the pairing made in BST. The Japanese MV to BST gives us more of the glimpse to the BU storyline (ex. Jin and Tae in the kitchen). Other than BU, BST I think is their most beautiful, unique and artistic MV. AND… I want BST to join the billion views rank 😂. We’re almost there. As for Spring Day- I didn’t vote for it. The reason is because they’ve heard it already. Also, everyone in the comments already told them the story, so I feel like the shock factor or element of surprise is already gone. Still a very beautiful MV and song, so I still look forward to their reaction to it. There’s high demand for Rise of Bangtan, so I’m pretty sure they’ll dive into that. No More Dreams and WABP2 is something that will soon follow.

There are over 100 episodes for you guys to go through, you've already done two the yoga episodes, so if you will get into those it would be super fun and I promise you will enjoy them! The cooking episode you saw was ep. 122-123 and the foot vollyball was ep.100! please check them out!

That's why it resonates with a lot of people: we all had the feeling of longing - for a friend/loved ones- that we lost.

The boys did a beautiful job of paying tribute to those that suffered in the Sewol Ferry disaster - acknowledging the government corruption that caused it was a brave move for an Idol group. It’s still in the Korean charts years later and there’s not a single person (even fans of other “rival” idol groups) who doesn’t appreciate this song for what it means

Deep down I love all the songs and hope they will react to all eventually. Thing is a lot of new army’s don’t necessarily have dug into the rabbit hole and gone through all of BTS’s older content which I think it’s a shame because like you said it is important to understand their beginnings. I’ve been trying to put that view point across to react to stuff in chronological order as much as possible whether it’s MV,s or documentary series it’s so crucial to get to learn BTS from the start. I mean votes are cool but ultimately if it’s only to get the most views then content will run out quickly because we would have watched all the most voted ones no matter new or old and timelines would be more difficult to go back n forth as in it’s easier to forget what you have watched or not seen yet because of constant jumping back n forth. I feel as long as it is BTS, army’s would happily click on the video to embark on the learning journey with them so they will get the views regardless. Also the bonus part is the newer army’s would learn something too if they haven’t come across some of the older content so it’s always better to react in chronological order makes everyone’s experience that more enriched and exciting…will feel more like a journey 💜

The others however, did have a heavier impact on their career. You're right, I Need U is the perfect start to it all but I think people are rushing to get a reaction to their personal favourite songs 😅 Run BTS is my personal favourite but I actually want them to have more understanding about the other songs too, I'd like to see them have meaningful discussions about the visuals too. I genuinely find their opinions interesting, so songs like Fake Love seemed so wasteful (in the visuals aspect) without any context 😭

2022-12-08 06:37:35 +0000 UTCYes… it was bc they actually performed this at one of the big award shows or something where there’s a lot of other artists.. and the filming was SOOoOoA bad. Like they shot that performance from the back and side of the back and focused on members completely in the back zoomed in and during the whole thing the camera kept backing so far away but never front and centered at all. It was a horrendous shot performance and made BTS look bad. The show said it wasn’t their fault that BTS couldn’t do the choreo properly and it wasn’t anything they did. So bighit created that to prove them wrong lol so very good camera is the finished product… but they show that it only took the close up shot one time through and the far away shot one time through with no stops or anything to create the perfect clip for “very good camera” part lol the ultimate clap back… bc it’s easy to see that there are no cuts from the close up shot and none in the far away shot but everything aligns perfectly … bc they work so hard and really are that good… and clearly it wasn’t their fault the performance had such horrible camera work :)

But I agree with the comments regarding Spring Day (AKA, Korea’s second national anthem); you’ll need to watch the explanation video to fully appreciate both the song and the music video. Personally, just want to share my experience with Not Today; that song hit me hard at the start of my journey with BTS and got me really hooked. So many ARMYs can relate as it is such an empowering song.

R M said that grief can be what ever you choose it to be. The MV however does reference the tragedy though so watching the explanation video would be important.

Like many people, I also think that to better understand Spring Day's MV, you need to watch an explanation video. The video of the Italian ARMY (link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrT4a_Fw6pE ) is excellent and is the one that explains the most about the Sewol tragedy, but I think it's worth warning that she speaks kind of fast and there's a lot of information being shared all at once, so I had to pause a lot and go back to read everything calmly and really understand what was happening. It's also valid to say that it's a very emotional video. The BS&T MV is iconic, but it can also be really confusing for anyone who doesn't know anything about the song's references. The video itself is beautiful and impactful, but it's hard to understand without some help. So definitely I would also recommend a good explanation video (someone already recommended the Bookish Theories video and it really is excellent, here's the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytTUPFRQzR4 ). Also if you guys want to read the lyrics before reacting to the MV, I do recommend the site doolset, the translations are more accurate there and there are helpful notes and comments. The Italian army one is longer but more in depth. Suggest watching the music video first then the explanation. You might want to have a trigger warning though as it is tough to watch for some people 💜. New to your Patreon and loving your journey!!

First, it’s all BST and MV specific. Second, the Bookish Theories connects it to Singularity and MOTS/Black Swan. They haven’t seen Singularity yet- so it would be a bit of a spoiler. But I really like Bookish Theories, so I hope they check out her video too after Tae’s bday week.

For I need u make sure it’s the original version and also remember it’s part of the BU so the song doesn’t match the MV, also it was supposed to be I need u friend but RM said it didn’t sound good so he changed it to girl. Spring day, definitely can’t be watched without the exception video preferably by the Italian army or you will never understand the mv, side note if you do watch this make sure you have tissues it is very emotional. The song is about loss and missing someone but the mv has a much deeper meaning. Looking forward to the next video💜

It's more than MVs, there's notes and short films and Japanese MVs and the webtoon...and even after all that, you still need an explanation video to sort it all out! Lol. Enjoy the MVs and music at face value and then if you want, get into the BU. At worse, you will come out of an MV with more questions (like the Snickers in Fake Love). Enjoy!!

Best part is the more title tracks you get under your belts the more live shows you can enjoy! Looking forward to what’s next. I would say after more title tracks then maybe a dive into some of the sub units vocal line and rap line. They might have released "better" songs since then, but in 2016 when BST came out BTS were still not THE BTS they are today. That was the song they won their first Daesangs with. I watched the entire BST era like a proud mom and I knew they were finally going to get the recognition they deserved. I knew it, ARMYs knew it, but I guess BTS didn't haha. You must watch this clip of their sheer and utter shock and surprise when their name was announced for Best Album of the Year at the MMA 2016 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWMmQSglqLM) and their subsequent moments of hopefulness, raw emotions, and pure happiness when they won Album of the Year a few weeks later at MAMA 2016 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNufkqS5c1o&list=PLbmW95SMyoS5vCT9MxjoQWawc2fc52tLT&index=51), and with BST playing while they walked up to the podium teary eyed... It's been uphill ever since but during the BST era when they were on the cusp but not yet "the greatest", man that was an amazing time to be an ARMY.

One of the songs that will make pretty much everyone cry. and I Need U is a great one also as it was their first music show win and the start to their 700+ awards they have now!! I think the way y'all have been reacting has been genius because you are looking at storylines and lyrics beforehand which gives you more context for the videos. This book also heavily influenced the Wings era and the BU so if you do watch it I would suggest maybe the explanation video by bookish theories afterwards would help with the Demian references and Easter eggs. Same thing with I Need U, it starts the whole BU. I didn't know if you had a special plan for tackling the BU but I Need U also comes with a trigger warning for heavy themes. Spring Day is beautiful and means a lot to ARMY (she's referred to as "the Queen") but that has a whole side thing as well. The song was written by RM about missing a friend. However, the MV references an incident that happened in SK which would need Italian ARMY'S explanation video and TW. I picked Not Today as it has a great uplifting message, is a bop and is influenced from MLK Jr's speech and directly quotes it in the pre chorus. Sorry for the essay, I thought you might want some context on some of these. 💜
