Community Update! (Discord QUICK update)

We are finally getting ready to launch our Discord!!
For those who are unfamiliar with discord, it's essentially a place where everyone here can interact with us and with each other. Essentially a large chat room 😊
We've been working with one of our awesome Patrons (Juli) in getting everything set up. There are multiple channels (chat rooms) for different categories. It'll be a place where we can have open discussions about anything and everything!

The Plan will be to do a "Soft Launch". So we are looking for 50 beta users who would like to join our Discord for a trial run. Help us work out any kinks that may be left over, or recommend improvements. It'll go for a short period of time and we'll eventually open it up to everyone else.
How are we choosing the 50??
Tomorrow at 9am CST (about 15 1/2 hours from now) we will be posting Juli's discord ID. Just send her a direct message and she'll get the first 50 people added to our discord server.

There are different communities you can interact with on there, I would suggest googling that part at the very least, so you know how to join CCW's or other communities you wish to join.

We can have group audio/video chats and just talk about goings-on in the BTS/ARMY world. It’s a great place to build a community with tons of tools and bots. Excited for this new phase with you guys!

2022-12-04 02:49:40 +0000 UTCI’m not new to discord. I’m on several and see the pitfalls of many of them. Moderators make a huge difference in the success of a discord. And there is a fine line between being a discord Nazi and complete mayhem. Too many chat channels is confusing, but some specifically chosen chats to satisfy everyone’s needs is necessary. Like, I will always gravitate to a chat specifically for BTS. Not a combined chat for all K-pop, or music, etc. I’m not sure you would want me for the soft open. I’m not very PC. But I do look forward to joining in!! And I’m very happy to know you will still be active on Patreon!

But for a tiny update - We’ve gone back and forth on the logistics and are finally narrowing down how we would like to approach it. We’ll give a proper update in a community post soon once we know exactly how we are going to handle it. And we’ll also explain our reasoning for the delay in that post 😊
