Thanks to everyone who voted in yesterdays poll... It was a real nail biter 😂. We're glad we did this cause it gives us confidence that we're going in the right direction.

This poll is to determine which MMA performance to react to. We will be doing the top 2 winners so be sure to select your top 2,3,4 favorites!

There are millions of ARMYs and most of us, started off finding this path on our own viewing contents as they come. It becomes easier for us as we grew with them. And we would be glad to share this same path with you. However, having watched you several times and see that your passion is making music yourselves, I feel that it is better that you find your path by their DISCOGRAPHY. Your intro to BTS started off so welI via short documentaries written well by ARMYs i.e. first of BTS (xCeleste's), BTS members (Taylor's). I suggest next to is to know phases of development of their MUSIC by The Most Beautiful Life Goes On - 2022 Update (Rice Squad formerly The Asian Theory). Well-written short documentary as well and quite enjoyable. You'll hear some short snippets of their music as well as the achievements that went with them. After which, you'll be able to relate more to our suggested songs, performances and even awards. By the way, this starts off with a very short intro of BTS and its members (again) but this is needed by the story...

It's pretty easy to imagine that no artist starts at the grand scale of their 2019 MMA so they could still appreciate how big BTS got without watching in order. Just my two cents. Like I said, personality preference.

As I understand, this is not your full time jobs so we have limited reaction per week, and reacting to awards shows are not the only content you want to share w/us, let alone all other requests that we have. If you are to watch award shows from early years to present, it will take weeks, if not months for you to be able to watch 2019-which is also a disservice to you imo. So yes, watch 2019 first, lol. or whatever you like. you can always rewatch everything in order in your own time anyway.

It’ll make the experience more exciting bcs you’d know the songs beforehand. There are some medley of these songs (like an intro) before they perform dionysus in MMA 2019.

Purely from personal experience starting off watching a whole heap of performances and content at random first before going back and watching everything in chronological order was very beneficial for my journey as I already had a strong foundation of appreciation and knowledge and I don't think it would have hit as hard if I didn't first develop that. Also watching their most iconic performances at random as a baby army is so so exciting and mind blowing!

For 2019 Mikrokosmos and Dionysus are definitely worth checking out the studio versions. Mikrokosmos is a beautiful song written for ARMY that some members have chosen as their favourite track from the persona album(also my all time favourite bts song) and Dionysus, their encore performance regarded by many as one of, if not the best ever kpop performance at an award show.

I joined ARMY in March 2020 so I watched MMA 2019 first and fell in love and then watched the rest and fell even more in love. Do what feels right, either way I am 100% sure you'll enjoy it!

It really is a celebration of their career up to that point. I would say 2018's MMA is safer to start out with. However, I stand confidently by that MMA 2019 is the best performance by any artist in the entire 2010s decade, so it would probably be enjoyed by anyone regardless of knowledge.

I chose 2016~2019.. then do 2020 last I think watching the videos from the beginning of their careers to their first MMA 2016 is the best.. then the next for each other Year.. it will give you history and growth of the guys.. I noticed in the Jk video you just released y’all kept saying when was this and we haven’t seen that.. that’s why I suggested to start from the beginning then watch everything else in between… I will definitely help y’all understand more… I’m still learning and seeing new stuff everyday .. BTS and ARMY are the best things for someone to bring into their life.. they bring joy all around you!! You know if your ever down .. who and where to turn to for a pick me up and pure happiness.. I honestly feel like the ones who vote 2019 maybe don't think as much about the entire journey and only want the reaction to their favourite performance. But I know you care about your journey. I wasn't a reactor and had no other Army to guide me. I sort of stumbled upon it during my learning about BTS journey. My mind was blown. Once I learned more about BTS I watched it again and had an even greater appreciation. I have so much BTS content to get through I haven't even watched all the years yet. But with all this talk on the channel about it now I'm all excited to. Anyway I think you get the picture of what everyone is saying. MMA 2019 is pretty much the biggest performance of any artist you will probably every see. So if you want to start at the top then that's the way to go. If you want to work up to it then do that. Both are totally valid depending on personality preference. My personal vote is MAMA 2018 then MMA 2019 but there was no way to put that in the votes.

It might make it a little easier on you guys to prioritize that, especially considering your other responsibilities and roles, since you’ll only need to do Life Goes On -> MMA 2020. No spoilers!

2022-11-10 17:47:36 +0000 UTCI’ve been going through the comments and although there is merit in going through the performances by year, I just want to point out that aside from 2019 which is the iconic one, 2020 might be a good place to start since they have already reacted to Black Swan, Dynamite and ON! That means the only other song they will have to react to so they won’t get anything spoiled is Life Goes On (unlike for MMA 2016-2018 which is full of songs they haven’t heard at all). Coincidentally, Life Goes On was also directed by Jungkook and since they’re doing the whole segment for his bday this week and he directed that MV, it might be nice and fluid for them to check that out next then transition to MMA 2020. Just a suggestion for you guys :))

2022-11-10 17:21:41 +0000 UTCSo here’s my thought. Since we live in an “instant gratification” world— I’ve learned to accept that they will react to 2018 & 2019 pretty immediately based on demand. My hope is… they will soon start the Rise of Bangtan (maybe January 2023? 😁 pretty please). From it, they can react to MAMA & MMA in order. Hopefully by the time they reach chapter 22 Anissa will also have this completed in time for them to revisit MMA 2019 again and have an even greater appreciation for it.

That said in order is great. Out of order won’t ruin anything because they are always impressive. 2019 is too much so soon. 🤣either way I’m sure CCW will have a blast. I think starting from the very first one in 2013 would be even better. 2014 had a cool light show. There’s no doubt 2019 is the most epic performance but I think you’d appreciate it more seeing them in order starting from when they were baby Bangtan 😋. They get better and better each year.

I feel like that one gets forgotten because MMA 2019 was so good but the MAMA 2019 is also amazing. For context both MMA and MAMA are year end award shows that happen a couple of weeks apart. Maybe start with 2019 and then do both shows of each year in order.

However, in as much as 2019 tops my vote too, I would suggest you go through the years in sequence for you to see the growth of their stages and will make you appreciate their consistent excellent performances. We will watch and appreciate whatever video of the boys you react to, but my sequence suggestion is more for your benefit since you are on your Baby Army journey 😁😍 Ultimately, enjoy every stage because BTS performances are always a must see.
