Community Update!

It has been a few days now since our last post. We are back from our travels and are just getting situated. (A couple of people have messaged us asking why we haven't posted, feeling a little frustrated.) We totally get it! But we just want to let you know, we haven't forgotten. We love our community here and want to be sure everyone feels like they are involved 😊
That being said, we just wanted to give a general update on our channel and a preview of what's to come.
We've been working very hard at a few things, a lot of which you have made it possible for us to do. They are:
1. Speaking with and interviewing a handful of video editors. This will help us tremendously in pushing out content. Right now we do everything ourselves which obviously leads to a delay in getting content out. If you followed our channel long enough you'll know we have full time jobs and kids, so time is a valuable commodity 😅
2. Putting together a long term release schedule. In an earlier post we mentioned wanting to piece together a schedule and MANY of you agreed whole heartedly. Very soon, we'll have a day a week dedicated to watching a documentary, show, fan made video, etc. This includes shows like RUN BTS, RISE OF BANGTAN, IN THE SOOP, and more.
3. Working on the infrastructure of the channel - This includes less important things like Graphic design, logos, banners, etc. But the bigger one is Discord. We would love to have a place where we can easily and more openly have dialogue with all our patreons. I feel like it would make it much easier to get questions answered and just have a place to discuss things in general. Be on the lookout in the coming days to a Discord invite, which will be a new benefit to ALL Patreons : )
4. Working on creating a new Patreon Tier with additional Benefits - We've said many times in the past that we wouldn't create another tier unless we could consistently offer a benefit that some people would want. Including but not limited to: Early Access, Paid Content (i.e. Bon Voyage), Uncut reactions, and help with creating polls. We've had a number of you asking about creating another tier, and this is all still a work in progress but wanted to give everyone a heads up on what we're thinking right now. And of course, any existing benefit our Patreons already have, they will keep. Including Voting, access to blocked content, all our community updates, and more.
5. Improving our YouTube space - We are trying to improve the quality of our videos when it comes to video and audio. We've invested in some more equipment which should HOPEFULLY help the viewing experience. I know most won't really care about this aspect but in the spirit of full transparency, this is something else we're working on in the background.
I believe that's it for now. Sorry for the WORDY post and for the short hiatus. It was a much needed break 😊. I'll post another community update sometime in the next 2 days with our schedule for next week! Also, there are a couple of polls that will be coming in regards to future reactions so be on the lookout for that.
As always, THANK YOU so much for being part of our community. Through this journey we have met too many caring and genuine people, which has been amazing.

That’s what they are all about. But their personalities are infectious. Try Run BTS and Bon Voyage. But you have hooked many of us. So we need more. It’s taking me back. You’ll know them so we’ll by the time they have a comeback. One suggestion—watch carefully. Sometimes you have to rewind because you are all talking a lot. And try not to guess so much. You’re going to watch my. Lol. But I’m loving how you all have clear gotten how wonderful BTS is. And I’m a middle-aged Army. PS—watch XCeleste’s hardship video and Rise of Bangtan. You need to see how hard they worked.

Generally, we re listen to the songs with headphones or in our car after and always catch new things. One of the updates we are working on is figuring out a way to have 4 headphones connected while we are reacting so we can get the most out of the music. Hopefully we get there sooner than later. All four of you seem to be genuine people giving all the boys a chance, and watching you discover them I get to relive that feeling again through you and also learn new things about BTS along the way through comments made by other ARMYs and your own observations as well. One small suggestion if I may. I've noticed so far you have mostly reacted to music videos or live performances. One suggestion I have is that the audio for live performances are not always the best, so can you consider reacting to the lyric/audio versions of the songs along with the live performances? You seem to be musicians and BTS songs are so impeccably layered sonically that it pains me to think you might be missing out on all those details in the song by only reacting to the live versions (for example, Jungkook's Euphoria solo is very soothing to listen to, I think it follows a similar chord progression to Coldplay's Something Just Like That but with that BTS magic and Jungkook's wonderful vocals and storytelling). Please consider reacting to lyric/audio versions of the songs as well please. Thank you!

2022-11-05 21:56:04 +0000 UTCDont know if you’re interested in an update about Ida S. blocked videos, but I will update you anyway haha :D She posted on her YouTube that those videos are really gone, but she wants to at least make an updated version of ‘Jungkook the Main Vocalist’ (the one a lot of people, me including, were recommending to you - the best video about Jungkook’s role in the band). So I suggest you try to watch someday when it will be out. Even better - you will see an updated version, as the old one was already a year old. I or probably someone else will let you know when the new video comes out (or you can subscribe Ida S. on YouTube if you want). Enjoy the ‘Jungkook the Golden Maknae’ video though, while its out there and isnt blocked! :)

We are totally okay with whatever pace you set up for yourselves because there is soooo much bts content it can get overwhelming! I’m super excited for all the different things you’ll be getting to like more RUN BTS episodes and In The Soop, etc….but I also hope/suggest that you will continue to react to more of their MVs and even the songs that dont have MVs because the heart of BTS first and foremost is their music! I have seen previous reactors fall to the pressure of releasing more content, that their reactions felt forced. I do not want that for you guys! Would look another tier to select from. You mentioned in your reaction to Jin's The Astronaut live how much you enjoy the little stage moments of fun. I would 100% suggest watching the Live versions of Anpanman and So what. I think I know the other family reactor you're referring to, they've been ARMY since 2019 I believe, now they're literally watch everything in their Patreon and at this point they're already watching the boys' solo guestings on variety shows in the past and they just charge $5 eversince and never increased their price. I love watching them too because they only react to BTS in their channel and Patreon, I mean because I came across some other reactors who reacts to BTS in the beginning and when their channel grow, they began to react to other Kpop groups and literally dropped BTS contents and doesn't react to them anymore and I find it so annoying because they literally just used BTS to gain views.... I think as ARMY we're just really protective of the boys 'cos they got taken advantage of so many times not just on social media but in the industry in general. So it's really nice to find people like CCW who really are genuine about the boys. What I love most about this channel too is that they are are very open and considerate of suggestions, they allow people to help them and guide them through. A channel worth supporting! 💜

My 2 favourite family BTS reactor channels literally had 100s of videos for $5 per month, including every single BTS show and movie released until 2021. Only now 1 of them increased to $8.50 for new content, because they have 500+ BTS videos on there already. The other guys still have everything (and Weverse and Vlive content) on their $5 tier. I think you know the 2 family channels I'm talking about, I don't want to promote them on another reactor's channel. Respect for them since they've been on this journey with us for years 💜💜💜 I wish I could support all these reactors at the same time lol, but I only have so much free time to watch 😂😂

I came across many reactors who have done the same thing, ARMY really know who's using BTS just for views and money. That's why I'm happy CCW aren't like them, they're like a breath of fresh air, because it's so rare to see reactors nowadays who genuinely love to get to know BTS, you can really feel how authentic they are. The fellas hear a lot of the music and instrumental side and the gals balance it out focused more on the lyrics and the emotional performances and messages of the songs. You are all genuine reactors sparked by your curiosity of getting to know BTS's music and the members personalities. You guys ask good questions that most "baby armys" seek for answers the more you go down the BTS rabbit hole because most of the fandom can relate since we have had a lot of the same questions. It all started with "I just wanted to know their names". A lot of us are really living through you guys as reliving moments of watching and listening to BTS as if it's our first time. There a tiny few among the massive fandom that are a bit impatient and just want you guys to crank out daily BTS content as quickly as they finish watching that video. Please just remember it's about balance in your life and don't let a few negative comments affect how you choose and determine the BTS content you create. I'm sure you're already aware how popular your BTS content reactions are already and I hope you guys enjoy the ride as long as BTS is around. As Jimin has said, "You nice, keep going"💜💜

(youtube channel we recommended to watch videos about JK) just posted that Hybe has blocked some of her best videos, including Main vocalist one.. Golden Maknae, as I understood, is still out there, so you can try to watch that one. Videos are blocked probably of some specific video clips, but there is also a high chance they were blocked because of some consistent haters’ reports (yes there can be that kind of thing).. Because the videos were literally there all the time, but suddenly got blocked. So yes. There is a possibility that also Golden Maknae can be blocked, so I hope you will manage to watch it! But hopefully she will sort it out with Hybe and videos will get unblocked. These were some of the best videos about JK’s vocals..

2022-11-04 04:43:49 +0000 UTCI'd like to add my two cent too. First, I echo most sentiments here: TAKE YOUR TIME, don’t get burned out. You guys are definitely one of the most successful BTS reaction channels I've seen and you’ve barely started and are not even exclusively BTS content alone. I think this is because of the unique dynamics that the 4 of you provide as husbands and wives. Many of us are women and we just love Abby and Summer because they're like us with their reactions. Also, you guys truly come across as nice people. BTS are nice people too. We are naturally drawn to nice people :). Second, you've always been honest with us since the beginning about your desire to create a second tier so it is not a surprise, and it is also common with many reactors. All I ask is to be mindful of your audience and be conservative with the cost for the second tier. Many ARMYs don’t like it when reactors use BTS to profit. I mentioned on your YT community post about how there was a new BTS reactor who posted an $8/month charge for BTS content. Well, clearly that channel got massive backlash because that tier was removed along with her post about it. So please be kind and considerate. I know the second tier is voluntary and I’m sure you’ll get subscribers for it. Just please don’t overcharge 😊. If you’re willing to consider an alternative to this, I think a live reaction is a great option where people send $X donation in exchange for a reaction of their choice that you can later upload as individual videos on YT. This might even bring more money, IDK. As for me, I’m fine with the 3 videos a week + 2 teasers. If you plan to add more, I’m fine with that too as long as you have the time and it’s not a burden. I know for us viewers who don’t have to upload videos, we consumed a lot of BTS contents because they’re fun to watch, and perhaps that’s what you want to do also. I would ask for a little more focus on music and MVs. I know many are recommending non-music content, but more on personality. But honestly since you guys are new I think you should focus more on the music since that’s really what BTS is- a music group. It’s also your area of expertise. If you plan to react to Run BTS, and side contents where BTS music will be used and referenced, you will enjoy those videos more knowing their music and the context to the videos. You’re not even familiar yet with “Bultaoreune” or “Fake Love” and so many more iconic songs. So please do more MVs. Other than that, sorry for the long comment and "hey [Daniel], you nice keep going.”

But yes The Rise of Bangtan is a fanmade docu and I agree with also prioritizing official content. However, TROB is a well put together docu that actually go over not only bangtan’s journey but it also gives you an understanding about kpop, its culture and a lot more factors that would help you make sense of it all. Since y’all are new with the whole idol group, chapters 1-4 will fill in the blanks for you :) i have been an army since the beginning, 2013, and believe me when i say that even though this is a fan name docu, its amazing cause you will be able to see their journey not only through bts’ but also a veteran armys’ lens, armys who have been there since the beginning and see things in chronological order. And as we always point out, one of the reasons why BTS and ARMY relationship is sooooo strong as it is today is because of the beginning. Armys were there and strong for them since the beginning when they didnt have much. Armys from 2013 would send them food, clothes and other necessities during events, to that extent. So yes, I understand the concern with the TROB being a fan name but trust the majority with this one. It’s a lengthy one but reallyyyy worth it. Most of the questions you have in your videos will be answered in this documentary. Anyways, stay safe always and borahae 💜

Yes, we kinda know the enlistment is gonna happen, but actually going through it with Bangtan is a different thing. And having you guys, it really does feel like rewatching their content and falling in love with BTS all over again. We miss them a lot and they aren't in the military yet.. So, I think we'll still be in shambles when that 'day' comes for each of them. But we have you now, so THANK YOU.

This makes a difference, cause many of us even when we're longtime fans or not, are still looking out for reactors we can watch that we relate to. And I usually don't sign up for Patreon just cause most reactors don't seem they're that invested in the tannies (that's what we usually call Bangtan btw) but you guys made me do it. And now, you're part of my nighttime routine! When I go home from work or when it's a weekend night, I watch your videos. Id rather see you discover BTS in a long term even if the content is few as long as it is consistent and I can see that you are genuinely enjoying the journey. As long as you post content at your pace, I personally am fine with waiting. I understand it can be overwhelming bc honestly catching up with all of BTS content can take years, it’s a hand full. Like many have echoed here, I think you guys have been doing a great job. I think the weekly posts updating the community on what’s coming that week is completely fine. I only expect updates when there are updates… so, you guys are good.

You can set channels and stuff for only you guys to give updates and that might be a good investment for you to do updates like this! For the schedule you could do like a weekly thing, like: M = music video reaction T = RUN BTS W = something random non-BTS related as you seem to want to branch out too TH = Music video reaction or fan video F = long-form video, something like in the soop or rise of bangtan. Like you could do Rise of bangtan, then once your finished, switch this day's spot to ITS, then something else. A long form video on friday would tide us over for the weekend haha! Don't feel like you have to do this, it's just a suggestion. But I think this would allow you to get through a lot of their music as well as catch up on the endless non-music stuff BTS has done!

2022-11-03 22:15:45 +0000 UTCI know a lot of people are suggesting to watch The Rise of Bangtan which is okay if it's a majority vote but just to share my two cents: I recommend going with OFFICIAL content first. Since TROB is fanmade and puts together clips from different official sources so you end up getting spoiled on a lot of things beforehand. TROB is also SOOOOO long and which could be time you could spend reacting to more songs/official content. Also, in my personal opinion, the series lost its direction and the overall 'message' of the series is a bit all over the place. If you guys want a docu-style type of content, BTS has official documentaries such as Burn the Stage (available if you have youtube premium), Bring the Soul, and Break the Silence (both available for purchase on Weverse.) All three of these have its documentary-film counterparts and the content is different as well. P.S. Do take your time and pls dont feel pressured! Getting to know BTS is such a long personal journey and we don't want you not enjoy watching just because you guys feel pressured to be reacting machines.

We want everyone to see everything and love them as much as we do. In that enthusiasm, some can get a little demanding or lose sight of the fact that people can’t watch everything immediately. They have good intentions, but can come off as a bit intense. You can’t drink water out of a fire hose on full blast. I’ve been Army for 2.5 years and still come across content I’ve never seen before. Take your time, enjoy the ride, and put your families first. Looking forward to watching your journey!

I’ve seen other youtubers talk about burning out when reacting to a lot of content at such a short time and as this is your journey please enjoy it and take all the time you need as your family and health comes first.
