Yeah when I saw it was will friedle I was like "ah yes, seifer" and I dont think ill ever live my teenage obsession with that version of Seifer down, honestly. 😅
2023-04-09 18:44:13 +0000 UTCA lot of the kid characters are voiced by Sam's kids, and in the watch parties they did, he's always like 'oh hey my kids! oh no they died' Also Kash's voice definitely doesn't match his face. That's because he's voiced (and was played in the campaign) by Will Friedle, who played Eric Matthews in Boy Meets World and Ron in Kim Possible. A very weird feeling for this 90s kid! And yes, Matron of Ravens is just store-brand Raven Queen, they didn't license DnD lore for the show so all the deities go by epithets. Pelor becomes The Dawnfather, Ioun is The Knowing Mistress, Melora is The Wildmother, etc.

2023-04-09 17:53:48 +0000 UTCNever worry about taking time off, it makes it that much more of a treat when you’re back! Good to hear you’re doing better. I did start watching Critical Role last fall and have now watched all of the first campaign and a good chunk of the second, so that definitely affects my perception of the second season vs the first, however I do think it is a step up, partly because the spotlight gets shifted around a lot more. The very nature of the Briarwood arc made it so that there was a lot of focus on Percy last season. The second season had more opportunities to let several of the other characters shine. Looking forward to next week!
